Electric superchargers = waste of money

Where are you able to LEGALLY do more than 130 mph? and why do you want to or need to?

if you want more out of your stock j i suggest an ECU upgrade...JWT is who did mine...just google jim wolf and youll find their website...also in order to get a stock J to 130mph that would take a LOT of time and a LONG stretch of road...in other words be safe but more importantly smart...there are other people on the road besides yourself...not trying to hate or anything im just saying what everyone else is thinking

The J ain't a fast car, more a luxury cruiser. If you wanted a fast car that you could modify on the cheap, you should have stuck with a rice rocket like a civic, RSX, SE-R, etc.

Other than JWT there are no other performance upgrades for this car.

ive got a nice stretch of highway right near my house, thats normally empty around 3-4am. its good cuz u can see the whole stretch of it from one high point. ive gotten my j to hit 128-129, almost 130. that was right after a little downgrade on that road tho, so i got a bit of extra speed from gravity... LOL

Wow, you guys are so badass. So much skill to keep the pedal on the floor. Go race some other automatics to see who's a better driver!

You really want to make your J30 fast? Push it off a cliff.

You mean pocket rocket.

Rice rockets are referred to those who put on the huge wings, fart cans, etc. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I learned.

Must be searching for his "Vanishing Point". Safer/cheaper to just rent the movie.

Does 130 mph break you on through to the other side?

not really other than battery tie downs and misc stuff...stillen used to make more things for early model Q45 but has since then stopped....just like Monroe used to make adjustable suspension for our Js but has discontinued that line as well...

It's all about profit. There are so few Js and Qs that they don't even blip the radar on the tuner scene anymore. You want profit, you make things for mainstream cars; Civics, Accords, Sentras, Altimas, Scions, etc. Even for those cars, the older they are, the harder it is to find aftermarket parts for them as all the companies are developing stuff for the newer cars.

The Q blip the VIP radar more than anything else. Not too hard to slap a stereo in it, lower it, then add some 24's. JDM TYTE!!!!!!!!!!

The J blips off the hand-me-down radar for a kid's 1st car. That's about it. But it does emphasize creativity for those who want to mod it. Doesn't take much creativity to mod a Civic, because there are so many of them.

The speedometer on the J stops @ 140. B/w the governor & the max reading, it's a 10 mph difference. Not worth much to try to remove the speed limiter chip to me.

Now, if the chip only allowed the J to go up to 85 MPH, then I could understand. BTW, there's no way to take the speed chip off the J safely & legally.

That sucks you guys don't have NICO ECU's or the fact that they aren't available for your J to the bets of my knowledge.

I don't think that chip will work on a 96 Q45, J30 or M30 because OB2 kicks in in 96.

You guys should see if Wes can hook you up for an ECU= more money business for him and a faster car for you.

I have a 94 and 30 somrthing bucks is a tad cheaper than Wes's rig.

No ditz on Wes though. He rawqs.

I do wish we could get a the 3 staged ECU like he did for the Q45.I wouldn't wanna run Mad Max all the time.

On another note, I think I read on JWT's site that they have a nitrous kit for the J30s. I know that it's not the best answer, but it's the only "quick" way to get some horses in that thing.
