This dude sounds like I did when I was 14ish...

Are you even allowed to drive your J yet, big guy?
Sad thing is that his bio says he's 28.

Calling people names when you've been a member for all of two days in no way to integrate yourself into our community or win any respect.

You should know that, your bio says your age is 28.

Knock it off.

If you want to participate in this forum do so with maturity.

This is your first and last warning.

Jakw wrote:I mostly don't know what you're trying to talk about...but do you mean pay someone else to do a TT swap? Because doing it yourself costs what? Over $5k? Paying someone else to do it would be way to expensive to be worth it. You could just buy a TT Z for that price. And sell your J and use that money for some mods. Then you would actually have a fast car (with an aftermarket!)

A catback is still going to be restricted by everything in front of it. It might not hurt, but it sure won't help a whole lot.

And if you're NOT talking about a TT swap, that's even more retarded. Swap an NA VG for an NA VG? And then mod the still NA version? Some of the more powerful NA Z32s I know of are still only in the high 200whp. Not exactly braggable. It's enough to be fun, but it would be suuuch a waste of money to buy the engine, then have it swapped, then mod it.

What kind of 'kit' are you looking for, anyway? Body kit? Doesn't exist. Turbo kit? Doesn't exist. Some sort of upgrade package? Doesn't exist. Suspension kit? Doesn't exist. The only kit I can think of that DOES exist for this car is the 60k/120k mile maintenance kit. That's money well spent.
I agree. Why swap a NA VG30DE from a J30 with a NA VG30DE from a 300ZX?? Not much of a horsepower gain. Especially if he keeps the stock weight. But he is right about the Jim Wolf ECU reflash. I've heard good things about it.

Oh, & calling folks names dude=not cool. Very childish. Only ricers do that.

I think I can smoke him with my stock Civic. Any takers?

Screw warnings.

Lipping off at people who are trying to help you, spouting misinformation about a car you know nothing about, and prattling on like a ricer with a 98 Civic ain't earning you any brownie points here, Junior.

Have a nice vacation, come back when you're ready to STFU and learn.

yes so overall cost wise it would be cheaper to swap and mod a VG30DETT in as opposed to squezzing more hp out of the NA....also even if you put everything you could to the NA w/o NOS youd probably be pushing roughly 400hp at the crank....
