Just reasserting the concept of scarcity. Humor me and pick from the following eight:

I voted M5 V10, but would also love the Carrera GT!

Using the assumption you asked about, of course ...

You ever ridden in a Diablo? They aren't cars you drive. They're cars that you look at.

I voted for the BMW, although the Honda Fit was a close second...

Anyway, the M got my vote because from what I've read (never actually seen either car up close) the BMW would be a little easier to live with as a daily driver. Since I spent all of this money on my status symbol, I'd want to be seen driving it.

Besides, I'm not sure if I could reach up to the drive through window at Taco Bell in the Porsche.

The M5 V10 is too ugly to drive, and really isn't anything special. I'd rather have a Cadillac STS-V and put the same money into making it insane.

The Porsche is just not my style. It's also painfully ugly. I'm just not a Porsche guy.

I guess I'd go with the R34 GTR.

Nah, I need to show that I'm "down with the common people" every once in a while.

Indeed! But I don't plan on kids, so I just put adults back there or bags of money, or crash-test dummies filled w/ money.

The BMW M5 V10 is ugly? Hmm. I need to look up pics.

edit: I looked up pics and while its not that agressive looking, its definitely nice looking and something I could live with and drive on a daily basis.

Carrera GT. 605 HP. Beautiful. Removable top.

Sure there are faster cars. But none look as good.

And yes, I would do drive-thrus in it. Oreo shakes at jack-in-the-box are awesome and God forbid the car ever be seen in public not doing what it's supposed to....being driven.

The Carrera GT is actually mid-engine. There is certainly more weight over the rear than the front, but the moment of inertia should be more forward than in a 911. The engine being mounted towards the rear allows better front aerodynamics, which can reduce front end lift and/or allow better front downforce. Coupled with at the rear end, the GT will reach much higher speeds in corners before the car will be at a point in which any oversteer might occur than in a more mainstream sportscar(probably more than most sportscars). The car can, of course, oversteer with relative ease, but put 605 HP in any RWD car and mash the throttle mid-turn and you'll probably end up with similar results.
