The exotic for a discerning buyer who cares more about performance than badges. Apparently, from what I've read, they arent terrible to drive on the street either.

Unfortunately, they have positively awful reliability, even worse than the Italian exotics (which is already pretty bad).

haha

although not as expensive as cars that you guys chose.

my dream car right now is a black lotus exige S. supercharged celica gt-s motor. 0-60 in 4sec. hitting 100mph in 10sec .. dam ...

and the sound of the supercharger .. so amazing. looks clean too.

only downside, its small. but its ok im 5'4" so i fit perfectly

how can you say no to that.

I suppose, but even if I had all the money in the world, I wouldn't want my shxt breaking down on me constantly, so I'd think that reliability would be a concern regardless.

no man, you just buy two and when one breaks down you have the other to drive while the broken down one is being fixed

Case in point: On the Gumball, or the Players Run, or one of those things, a guy with an S7TT had to drop out on like the second day because his POS broke down on him.

They are wicked looking though, and are, I suppose, something of a bargain, but I'd still rather have a lot of other cars before an S7 (The Veyron is NOT one of them).

I'd take the Cosworth edition though.

890 horsies traveling through one of the best AWD systems in the world = Carnage.

^^

The resale on XJ220's has seemingly plummeted, for some reason.

I coulda sworn that I saw one for like under $200k recently, essentially new condition like every other pampered exotic.

I mean, still expensive, but a bargain IMO relative to other 1990's super-supercars.

EDIT: I retract my initial post in this thread. If money were NO object, I would not drive a Dauer 962 LM. I would drive the USS Iowa.

I'd have to put a Squash Air Freshener and a Wakaba sticker on it though.

Chris, youre nuts, haha.

McLaren F1. Still cant be touch by 'modern' supercars. Except for the Veryon maybe, which I would gladly rock as well. I have this thing for cars whose horsepower values include a comma.

The designer of the McLaren F1 wrote a GREAT article on the Veyron where he detailed precisely why it sucks.

I haven't been able to find it....can anyone help out?

It was a fantastic article.

A twin turbo 96 hennessy viper venom 650R, an RB30DETT powered GT-R, a suzuki LTZ-400 quad, and a suburban on 24's with spinners and a sound system that could out play the sound of a 747 taking off and I'd have an S13 hatch,coupe & vert, an S14 & S14a and an S15 & S15 varietta....and a honda CBR1000RR

there. one for each month.

Let the One-Upmanship begin!

The daily driver:M1A2 Abrams MBT

The weekend toy:F35B (the pic is an C, not a B...the B is VTOL, C is STOVL...but they look very similar)

NICO stickers would abound on them both.

u know whats weird, my dad owned 2 rs2000's when he was like 20 years old. one he built from the frame up and the other he got str8 from england.

nonetheless, i will stick to the topic rules and i shall vote for the m5. the gt is nice but lets be practical about it, id be more paranoid about parking my gt next to other vehicles as supposed to the m5. plus something about silent speed impresses me. lol.

I think that the Cien is probably the nicest concept car that has ever come out of the United States...I have NO IDEA why they didn't produce it.

Makes the ME412 look like an ugly sibling.
