Some new pix.

Scott got more of the header welded together.

Enough to support the turbo.

We fabricated a brace to support the weight of the turbo. It is bolted to the rear AC bracket bosses. A nut welded to the brace with a bolt and lock nut allow for adjusting preload.

I am using 1.5" pipe weld elbows from McMaster Carr. Not sure what the ID is. What I do know is that the ID is just a tick larger than the width of the port on a Mr Gasket copper header gasket for a KA. Gently pressured in a vice in two directions makes it about perfect for the squarish port of the KA with very little porting.

Air Water IC will be mounted inbetween the radiator and the motor. My IC pipes will total about 16". I have an ice box in the trunk and a Jabsco Centri Puppy pump. After water travels thru the IC it will go thru a B&M stacked plate cooler prior to dumping back into the ice tank.

Here is a pic of the my trunk.

That is the plan. We have some really quick cars at AMS all gunning for T4 NDRA next year. The plan is to take em all out Its time the 240sx is noticed at the drag strip.

We are working really hard to get the car ready for NOPI finals in Ohio mid Oct.

11mm head studs thanks to Ivan

well, you can kind of see the crower rods in there lol.

crower springs/retainers

as you can see I "take pictures real good"... yea...

on a side note, Ivan, do I need these?I assume they are just for aligning the head to the block for the stock head bolts but just want to make sure.

stay tuned for more pics!

Those are for aligning the head to the block. If your running stock size studs, I would recomend you keep them.

Rob, i was able to use all of my dowel alignments even with my 11mm studs. Dowels go on #6 and #9. AND MAKE SURE TO USE TAPERED STUD on #3. and yes i know #4 piston is alot cleaner than rest haha. i cleaned it so i could inspect it (not due to coolant leaking or whatever)

Hey Ivan,

Just wondering if you know if the 600 F4i coil packs and the 954RR's are the same length or is there a significant difference in them? If not can you shoot me a email with the part#'s that you used on your setup? Thanks.

There is probably next to nobody that would want this manifold. Its hard to tell from the pictures but the turbo is ENORMOUS. The inlet to the compressor is 5". The outlet is 3". The turbine discharge is 4". The size of the turbo dictates no AC and no PS and getting rid of the cap and rotor helps too.

Here is a GT32 versus my GT42

A $20 bill is exactly 6" wide.
