Yep, fully loaded with the exception of bird's eye maple interior. I have a green shifter knob though...this is a defect that can be replaced under the warranty (I purchased the Elite extended warranty so I'm covered to 04/13 or 92K miles, whichever comes first)?Mark Linkous wrote:Awesome. Thank you for the reply. That is very low mileage. Props. I believe Manok has a very low mileage 2004 as well. Is your car equipped with the Technology Package? It seems that a higher percentage of 2004's came fully optioned than 2003 models. When I looked for 2004's, I do not think I found one not equipped with Navigation, ICC, etc... I found very few 2003's that were so equipped. But really, it was the CD changer location that made me eventually seek out only 2004's.Cheers,ML
I have an '04 with 62,xxx miles. I had the gas gauge issue, covered under warranty. I must be one of the few 04's without Navigation or ICC.Mark Linkous wrote:Awesome. Thank you for the reply. Interesting. Glad you were able to get your cluster replaced under warranty.jbillion wrote:I have an '04 with 62,xxx miles. I had the gas gauge issue, covered under warranty. I must be one of the few 04's without Navigation or ICC.
Max, glad your car has been mechanically sound. Unfortunately, rattles seem to be a byproduct of the stiff suspension tuning from the factory. I remember reading the Infiniti engineers stating the car is at the bleeding edge of acceptable ride quality. I suppose this might be indicative of placing a much higher horsepower powerplant in a car that originally offered a good bit less powerful turbocharged V6 as the most powerful engine option. Over rough pavement, I sometimes hear rattles from the rear view mirror and the dash.Cheers,MLMaxBolus wrote:Just rolled over to 89000 this weekend..still gets me howling at full throttle
No oil consumption, been running synth blend since day 1. Got the squeaky drivers seat and rattle in the back (parcel shelf) that I keep *meaning* to get to, if my other cars would quit breaking..
btw, I have *never* put this many miles on any of my cars in this short a time..sometimes wonder if my odo is reading Km or something, hahaaa
Nice. I believe you are one of the few Y34 owners at or near 100,000 miles. I have seen some 2002-2003 Q45's on Autotrader with 170,000 miles+. Really is reassuring to hear the engine holding up so well.RBote wrote:2003, Black on black, got it with 96000 mi 3 months ago, now almost at 100,000. Within the past month, replaced the plugs, fuel filter, KN air filter, oil, PCV valve, license plate bracket, new tires. Recently fixed the squeak on driver seat, thanks to cakedaddy. This is the first used car I've ever bought. Love it...
Awesome. I am getting more and more convinced that 2004 M's came fully optioned more often than not. The Elite Warranty rocks.Cheers,MLjdwall1013 wrote:2004 Brilliant Silver with Tan interior, navigation, chrome factory wheels and all the options with 32,000 miles. Oh, yeah! I forgot I had that issue too - they replaced both the struts and all is well since then.Boon wrote:They also fixed the trunk pop issue.
