I having a hard time decifering whehter or not to go SR or KA, but in the long run, IMO, I believe the SR is better. But truly, this is not about which engine is better, its about making this swap as easy as possible, and worth while. What I was going to run is as follows:SR20DET Red TopGT2871R .64 @ 15psi

Mixing engines with different shells....keep it all in the same family. With that setup you could get away with practically a stock sr drop in and upgrade the turbo, injectors, and tuning. I think the decision is truly up to you.

Dont forget intercooler, fuel pump, and mass airflow meter. Just to make 15 psi.

Thats not mentioning things like upgraded radiator, and a full oil cooler setup if you plan to ever hit the track.

Im partial to the SR, mostly because despite what all teh KA-T boys will tell you, it does have the benefit of reliability and daily driveability.

What actually are you asking for?

You can't run a 2871 at 15psi with the stock injectors, it flows much more CFM's than a T25 ever could. I'd be scared to run more than 10psi and even then I'd keep a wideband with me to make sure you're not leaning out.

If 15 psi is all you want to run, buy a new Spec-R GT28 and with the money you save buy 550cc injectors. then pony up for a MAF and rom tune to get it all running properly.

that's assuming you already understand you also need the basic stuff like a fuel pump and some sort of intercooler setup as previously mentioned.
