KA24Power wrote:Okay guys, the meshies have been growing on me for a while now and I'm really thinking of getting a pair. Unfortunately I'm a total Mesh noob.

What good meshies are there that fit the 4 lug bolt pattern?

How rare are 16's?

Where do you guys find these things?! I have no clue where to start!

please help me out!!
We have converted another, whoot. Alrighty my friend, there are plenty that can actually fit your bolt pattern. The more popular/common ones that are true mesh rims are the Rikens & the Enkei 92's. The spex on those are both 15x7 +0 offset on Riken, +17/+25 on the Enkei, no matter which they will fit nicely. It is not easy to come but it can be done. I am trying to find a 16 that match the Rikens. The 16" ones that I have come by like SSR, are offset of +46, disgusting.

If you would physically like to look, check junkyards, you may be able to find a decent pair.

Always check the forums!!! That is your best bet for Rikens, Enkei's, etc. Be ready to pay average 500 for those and some like Work or SSR expect 800-900.

Sorry to advertise against you guys but http://www.zilvia.net has a good amount listed in their wheels/tires section. Every post of mine, but about 2, have been in classifieds.

awesome, thanks.

I'm not really wanting to physically look for them, just keep an eye out. I've looked around ebay and zilvia. Sheesh these things aren't cheap! oh well, the mesh looks so nice.

After looking a bit I realized that they aren't as common as I had originally thought.

okay now i'm excited. I just found some Riken meshies on a local forum. All good shape, just missing one centre cap.

He says they're 15's... so 15x7 +0?!

how much for this set? $200.oo

sound good guys?

I think so

Edit** they don't seem to be 15x7+0 from the picture. They don't seem right. Here is the link: http://forums.vitalmotion.net/...30888Can someone verify if they actually are rikens?

i think they're rikens, but the size doesn't sound so good

15x6 +35 or something like that

the mesh part doesn't seem flush with the lip, and i don't think it'll look too good. I'm gonna pass on them or see if they're still up in a few months when the car is officially mine.

looks like they had to do a pretty agressive pull/flare on the back. Imagine if that were RWD...

I really want some meshes too, but people have been giving me some really horrific shipping quotes upwards to $200 - $300. =( I'll find some! I am determined for them!

I've owned 3 sets of mesh rims...all found here and there at decent prices. You just gotta search. But I just ordered some new rims so I'm torn between the two. Use the Mesh rims or the new pretty shinny rims for regular cuisin/wut not, and use the other for track use. I just dont know.

bulletdriftwhat are specs? new/old we already know mesh is teh secks and are pretty light. Offset is most of the time right on time. Let us see new ones and get some weights of both. For the track you'll want the least unsprung weight. And when you get a tire sponsor lmk tell em to call me btw if you track your new wheels and f'em up you will be mad but if you f*** the mesh up we all will be mad,you know they are getting hard to find so....180sxfaktory stop showing off lol

leveloneae86 NICE how much you pay?

IWannaS15 wrote:Am I the only one that likes meshies on the S14? I searched the junkyards and Ebay for some cheap Crown Vic meshies (16x7 +6mm) but never found a set.

Great thread BTW!
Has anyone actualy put Ford mesh wheels on their 240sx? If so I would love to see it. My '91 s13 hb was stolen on christmas eve, and I have been driving a '94 Lincoln Towncar as a loaner, and it has. . . you guessed it, meshies.

I was sort of joking around with my roommate, who also has an s13, that the Towncar wheels would look good on a pignose. I had no idea people were actualy running these things.

Oh, on my way back from taking pics in the parking lot i spoted this, not axactly mesh but you get the idea.

Man I need new Enkei 92's, I miss my Meshies . I had some Rikens but sold them to ~4n~ in hopes to put that money towards a new set of 92's but I bought a new car instead. I can't wait to set it up with some 92's and a Xenon Front lip
