Not to defend these latest allegations - if he struck her, he needs to be held accountable - but this "racist" thing makes me laugh. A heat-of-the-moment comment, in private, is no one's business, and certainly doesn't warrant such an inflammatory term as "racist".

What I don't understand is this, if a white celebrity uses a racial or religious slur (ala Mel Gibson or Kramer) in the heat of an argument all hell breaks loose and the whole world winces, a minority does the same thing during everyday conversation (Dave Chappell, Eddy Murphy, ect) it's a joke and no one cares. Pardon me but what's good for the goose is good for the gander, they're words people, you make sentences with them and they are needed for coherent speech and language, so what's the big F'ing deal. An amusing update. Radar On-line just released another expletive filled recorded Mel phone ranting. Howard Stern just played it. It was both funny and cringeworthy. No racial slurs this time, but he is completely unhinged.
