How long have you had them installed? Any problems so far? Cracks? bolts seizing? Thanks in advance.

about 3 months now... i drive the car pretty hard since its not my dd and they have held up so far. im not saying theyre the best ruca out there im sure the SPL ones are great also but i think people hear one thing bad about a megan part and think that all their products are crap even though they have no experience with them. they've been in rain and snow and no signs of rust or anything.

i have been rocking the megan coil overs and RUCA's for about a month and a half and they work great! ride is stiff but still has travel to soak up the bumps. front is maxed out.. wont go any lower, rear still has a about half inch to go.

on-topic with megan racing.......may not be suspension but has anybody tried their version 2 short shifters?(the 1 that looks like a B&M short shifter), is it around the same as B&M?

i thought it was a knock off b&m, i've been debating..megan's stuff is good, but some parts are too important to go el-cheapo..i've heard its been good to the people who installed it, but that was like driving it a week later

there needs to be a thread about how parts have held up after 3 & 6 months..one year, different driving conditions, etc

::shrugs::..meh just an idea

Did you even read the thread. Go back to my first post and re-read. My intention with this thread is exactly what you described.

So far this thread has surpassed my expectations. Fellow Niconauts are still providing updates as to the durability of the parts. I can only hope this thread continues as im getting some awsome, first hand, knowledge about some parts im considering purchasing while my car is in storage.

Thanks again Nico, and keep us updated!

I've been reading on a lot of forums and many people seem to be bashing Megan Racing products but I've done a little research and some of their stuff has been out for quite some time and with each replacement or upgrade their products quality does seem to be getting better does it not? Just my opinion.

yeah, i got a shortshifter off ebay that is also an B&m look alike, i believe they might be the same people who make megan's shortshifter since they look EXACTLY alike. all you have to do is throw a rubber boot on top like the B&M, and also take out the little white plastic circle thingy on the bottom and switch with a OEM nissan one and you'll be fine. shifts identical like my friends authentic B&M. well a little update here. everything on the suspension seems to be hllding up ok. the only thing i noticed is that on the toe links and the Rucas, the tightening nuts for the adjustment screws came loose. so when installing them, you need to tighten the crap out of them i guess. they back out easily from all the vidbration. thats my only problem i had with them.

Blue locktite, the semi permant. i.e. you can still take them off if need be.
