Megan Exhaust on Ebay

My next mod, which is in the very near future, is a Megan exhaust.

There is one website I saw that was selling it for about 360 shipped. Not sure how they work, but I don't want to pay, and have them order from Megan. If they are on backorder, I would have to wait who knows how long.

Same with eBay, hopefully that's something they have in stock, and not just an auction to take your order, only for you to find out the company you bought it from places an order from Megan when they are on back order = 2 month wait.

and yes ebay sellers will sell & take your money even if the item is on back-order for 3 to 4 months. none of them have it instock.

I was lucky to be able to buy the last 3 axle back exhaust from the last order and even with that I had 8 members which had to wait 3 more months for the next order.

I call Megan Racing almost every other day and know what they have instock, if they don't have the item you want I won't ask you to send money.

I had a list of about 8 members from different forums that waited 3 months and in the last week all orders have been shipped out. Some have the items installed already

Last I checked half of Megan's exhaust for the M's has already been sold.

Test pipes won't be in until Feb or Mar next year

Not sure what's up with the delays some people are seeing but I ordered an axle back from a supplier here in Toronto 3weeks ago. It arrived in 2 weeks. Supplier did check with Megan before he took my order. Installed last week

$418 (Canadian funds) plus local taxes shipped.

Stealership wanted $600 for one side!

No delays with me, if product is instock you get it between 3 to 6 working days. Pending on your location (lower 48 states).

I wouldn't even think about holding money for out of stock product, thats just one of the reasons I don't sell on Ebay.

Megan has a dual tip on each muffler, they come fully polished.

Most add the mid-pipe and a few add the y-pipe for even more power.

I was told last night that Megan Racing blue tip axle back exhaust is running low in stock. Only a few left.

They have sold faster than the regular tips.

If you need a set or are thinking of getting one I wouldn't delay to much, they'll be gone soon.

And as always I'm sure it'll take 2 to 3 months for them to be back in stock.

Even the test pipes for the M35's won't be in stock until some time in Feb or March (thats 4 months out of stock)

I have a question:

I have seen 'cat-back' and I have seen just the muffler with dual tips - both are Megan racing. Are these the same? Obviously cat-back refers to 'from the catalytic converter back, but is it necessary to get the one with added pipes or are these actually the same item but wth different descriptions? Also, do they have 3inch tips?

2nd part would be mid-pipe

3rd would be y-pipe

4th would be test pipes

5th is headers

not sure if you guys notice on your cars, but have you seen these bolts welded on?

luckily i have a friend that owns a shop, so i used his lift to install the mids and axle backs. But the i couldn't use the bolts that came from Megan that goes from the Y pipe to the mids, i got it to install properly, but just wondering if any of you guys have seen that on your cars.
