I don't post much but I have a 2012 M35H

33k runs great no issues but needs some TLC
front end needs to be repainted due to rock chips

Moving on
I have my CV7s got them used and pray they have no issues .
All are 20x10.5 +27

I feel that the tires may be too thin 255/30/20 and 275/30/20

Also I got some megan coilovers (I know....) but they were free from a friend who runs a shop out in Florida
I think tomorrow I'm going to make the dive and start the install

1st time ever installing coilovers so any tips, tricks, and pointers are highly appreciated. Ill take pics and post them as I go.

Also if anything sounds like it may be a problem don't hesitate to reply this is my daily driver!

You can use my guide on the suspension from the Y50 forum...(see sig)...should be pretty much identical except for maybe the rear.

I think the 2012+ guide might be more applicable.

Trouble

Rears went in today. First 1 took 2 hours (hard fighting that strut off) Second took 20 mins. I find after removing bottom bolt using two screwdrives on each side and prying the strut off worked very very well. Also i had a 3ft 2x6 plank I wedge in to manipulate the control arm when needed.

Then I moved to the front. Setup everything and got tires and lines pulled off. WHY is it so hard to break the linkage on the strut and sway bar. I tried for 30 mins then had to take the wife to NYE party. I think I may need an impact... Ill try using a torque multiplier/mechanical advantage tool ( a 18" breaker bar with a jack pipe) and if that doesn't work well im stuck looking for an electric impact.

I really hope it can put out enough anyway.

Any tips or tick would be gold right now
Anyway Happy New Year all!

Penetrating oil and impact driver if you can get your hands on one. Sometimes nuts and bolts are just a PIA. I had to cut one off when I installed my exhaust and halfway rounded a nut installing my strut bar and had to replace the nut. :gotme

Bad new

Today I got a 300ft impact wrench and the rest is history.
5 mins into it the nut stripped!
FML lol going to put everything back on and take it somewhere to get the fronts installed. I was almost there!

Good news

buddy came over with an extractor set and we got it off.

Swapping fronts now and will be done with that.

Sent lug nuts to old address so the wheels will wait for now.

Yeah I'm stupid stoked and pretty proud! Waiting for some lug nuts and probably gonna have to splurge on some new tires for the vossens. The current ones are from the Z and 30 series tire really scared me. so looking to upgrade the dome lights and start saving for the next big item.
