As info, this months Hemmings has an article about the 250GTE. It's value is climbing and accelerating. They're averaging $155K now. A pristine one might fetch $250K. Not bad for a small 4 seater that sold for $12,500 in 1961.
Not bad at all. It is the single most beautiful automobile ever built, though. So it's definitely worthy of the price.

It was a 19 year old girl, I think. I believe Mr. Ryan Watters knows them.

Does it matter? :chuckle: This might have been an April Fool's joke anyway. An MD lottery official just told the Today Show no one has come forward yet to claim the prize for that ticket.

Turns out the whack-job Mc Donald's employee did NOT win the jackpot in Maryland. :woot:

http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/sto ... 54161086/1

The owners of the ticket bought in Maryland came forward Monday and turned out to be two public school teachers and an administrative employee. The trio — a man in his 40s, a woman in her 20s and a woman in her 50s calling themselves "The Three Amigos" — chose to be unidentified. They said they plan to keep working.
They were photographed with their faces covered by a large check for $218.6 million, their portion of the $656 million jackpot. Their hands and arms were covered by gloves and long sleeves.

Win. :bigthumb:

Win indeed. Where did that McD's lady go then? Last I heard a day or 2 after the drawing she hadnt come to work and no one knew where she was.

I think I will start playing this every week just for the hell of it. I feel like the chances of winning something more than $2 is better than the crap I get from scratch offs.

I woud imagine after making a complete idiot of herself on national TV, plus suggesting her co-workers would come after her with pitchforks and lawyers for buying her own ticket (not among the group purchased), might be incentive not to show up to work and face them.

I actually won $3 in the Mega Million and I didn't have to share it with coworkers. It's mine, all mine! :)

If you only spent $1 or $2, then the return was worth it! :yesnod
