We are piggybacking on MNSC.net spring opener as we minnesotans apparently have too much going on to schedule a meet just for ourselves. Here's the info:May 12 (yes, day before Mother's day) noon-5at the Clifton French Regional Park http://www.threeriversparkdist...pid=9There will be food available (they are asking for a $5 donation I think)We NICOnauts will be meeting @11:45 at the Camden Physician parking lot prior to cruise the last 2 miles to the park. The Camden Physician parking lot is located on the frontage rd on the NW corner of 169 and co rd 9 (Rockford Rd). Nearby are a Burger King and Shell gas station for reference.Hopefully, this will springboard into our own local meets. Please respond if you plan on attending so we know how many people we need to wait around for.Ajax- 1

Yeah, I know, but any threads like this outside of this section would most likely get deleted within 3 minutes, so what can ya do?So at this point I guess we've got 4 confirmed and I know one other guy that might make it. Eh, its a start.

I have some 7.2 megapixels camera I'll be bringing. I'm pretty sure the batteries are good for about +100 or so more pics. I'd also like someone else to bring a camera... just in-case.

Soccer's better in the rain... Did you ever get a new car- you were debating between a z31 and a 240 weren't you?

See everyone at the camden physician's parking lot @11:45- I'll stay there until noon. And I will have some sort of sign.

Yeah, i like soccer better in the rain too, but im still breaking in my soft ground cleats so i dont want to play a tournament in cleats im still breaking in. Also, rain is awesome if your team can pass the ball on the ground well, but it will be our first few games of the season and everyone will have to get used to each other again.

About the car. Yeah I'm still torn between the two. Really it comes down to the value of whatever I can find. I like both equally, but I might have to get a Z first because of the whole super drift fad with 240's. Every one I find is owned by a college kid with a CAI and a shift knob and they want 4 grand. I figure I'm going to have to look further south, so maybe I'll road trip it down to AZ/CA and pick one up off my mom as something like a graduation gift or whatever. Having 3 cars at 18 would be interesting though...lol. certainly spendy

to all of you who didnt make it to this meet, you missed out, yes there were a lot of hondas, but there were also some really cool cars, other than us Nico members there was a white chuki with a KA-T and a black sil-eighty drift car with an RB25, not to mention a few S14s, there was also a white S13 coupe with the silvia conversion, although the conversion was so poorly executed that I cannot rightfully call it a silvia. I was glad to see that not one car showed up with blingy hubcaps, also the outragous sticker package + park bench wing + fartcan + cleartails = fast fad seems finnaly to be going out of style, although the guy in the grandam next to me seemed to be happily unaware of this. It was nice to see that the Subaru croud seems to be growing and there were also some good looking rotarys, most notably a yellow 1993 track attack FD sporting lots of carbon fiber and a few battle scars to boot. Thats all Ive got to say for now, but I do know one thing, we need to have a good NICO meet some time, Id really like to meet you guys and see your cars, it seems like we can never get more than three or four of us together at one time. Thats all for now

Ian

Oh and by the way I know my way around Brooklyn Park sort of my g/f lives in Maple Grove so I'm up there all time if you guys want to meet up there!!!! Let me know guys!!!
