I just used a can of this for the first time. Got rid of a rough idle. Love it, the engine is pulling like it used to.
Got it at a Raben Tire. Raben tires can be found all across the Mideast, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio.
Knew a guy there got an 11oz can for $10.

That was my experience in my 1995 Q45 and also in my current 2003 M45. Essentially no difference after using BG44k (although I go ahead and do it periodically anyway - cheap insurance).jamesmost wrote:BTY i noticed no difference w/ bg in system - my car always feels like it has bg in it
So, I can't tell if it is not working, or whether my car is clean enough not to need it.

More noticeable on 90-93 vs 94-96 due to change in injector nozzles 4 holes vs 1 pintle.Only real change in the 90-96 fuel system.......shape of head runner probably immateriall to deposit build up on valves or piston crown?
CARB is one of the few states which might actually test fuels for compliance so refiners might just add a splash more detergent to avoid getting caught SHORT!............especially since they are allowed to charge extra for CA blend......................a few pennies per gallon can change things a lot.One for them 1 for me sounds mighty good to the bottom line.
