so i have a HKS manual boost controller. today i test drove the car, tinkered with it to get the idle right, the SAFC right, the BOV right and the MBC.

well the first couple times i got on it, i was hitting 15psi. YIKES!! and that was with the MBC turned all the way down, so the psi should have been at ~7-8. after a while the car went down to about 6 and stayed there consistenly. no matter how much i close up the MBC, the psi is at about 8 now. should be higher dont you guys think?

im using the large nipple on the throttle body to feed the BOV and MBC. i dont think thats too much?

help!

the MBC should be fed by a Direct boost source, not MAP. using MAP is a good way to destroy your wastegate actuator.

is it a ball and springs mbc, or bleeder valve?I didnt have much luck with a bleeder valve style on my mk3 supra, but I had a "quality" ball and spring one that worked great

hmm i see, but i have no other sources to really plug into for the actuator.

Im not sure if it is a ball and spring, but i would have to guess that it is.
