RB's are really heavy and throw off the power to weight ratio in the car since all the weight is focused on the front end. On top of that their expensive as heck to rebuild.

Sad to see this isn't crowded with comments, this is an extremely expensive and legit build, but no one is loving it!! :tisk:
But would love to see the car a little lower, but i know michigan roads blow!
But sick build man, i love it and can't wait for more! :dblthumb:

I think more people would comment if they weren't straight dumbfounded with awe. This is the sickest build i've seen.... ever! Pretty much where I want to go with my engine. MAD props sir!

Only thing the s13 has better is high port manifold. The greddy version 2 makes the s14 sr have the same thing.

nice, I'm running a semi built block with a turbonetics t3/t4, my car is my everyday driver and im not looking to do any crazy hp, my goal is 400rwhp and im good to go, but for drifting, i heard upgrading intake manis makes bottom end suffer due to turbo lag, but make a huge difference on higher hp and top end. although someday ill prob eventually upgrade, and its good to know about my options!

its easier for u since u actually have a s14 lol, as apposed to my s13, but if all goes well ill have a 2nd s14 block soon, rebuilt but with stock internals, ill either sell it or use it as backup.

The s14 sr or s13 sr bolt in the same. the wiring is kinda the same, you just get the benefit of valve timing and a bigger T28 turbo.
You'll really enjoy either!

Dyno session is at end of month. im guessing low at 496whp @20psi (probably around 525) and no clue for high boost.

So here's a little update. the intercooler piping is run, the custom intercooler is done and the stainelss steel exhaust if getting finished up. all that's left is a little of the wiring and moving the gauges to their new home. then hooking up the AEM ems and engine break in. followed by tuning for both low boost (20psi) and high boost (34psi) Im not one for the estimate game. should have in time for the sport compact shootout.

1 side note. I went with a Tial BOV instead of the HKS limited edition black one I had. someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse!

I'm gonna keep an eye on this build. It looks epic. I've never been a huge SR fan, but I'm loving this build. You really built an exceptional motor. How much power are you planning on putting down?

Also, I know this has been said a million time, but I absolutely LOVE your wheels. Keep up the good work.
