1) My post had nothing whatsoever to do with Nala or whatever religious beliefs he may or may not have. Actually, religious topics are specifically prohibited on NiCO, and I try to follow our forum rules out of respect for (most of, admittedly) my fellow members as well as the forum management. My comment was specifically regarding the fundamental impossibility of having a "backup plan" in the case of the world unexpectedly ending. If you are religious, by definition preparation of your soul for death cannot be "a backup plan". It is, instead, your primary motivator on earth. If you are NOT religious, there is no backup plan either BECAUSE THE WORLD JUST ENDED. Have a spaceship parked in the garage? Good luck getting to it if an extinction-level event happens unexpectedly BECAUSE IT'S UNEXPECTED.

These people are way off on all there predictions. According to the Bible the Rapture is the beginning of the last power struggle on Earth. Though the timeline is never really laid out in the scripture, according the the Prophets, many things must happen first before the Rapture.

The Rapture is supposed to start a 7 year struggle or tribulation on Earth. During that time the Earth will be afflicted with all types of disaster and plague. At the end of which Jesus will return to Earth for the Final battle at Megiddo, or Aramgeddon. To say the end would be months after the rapture is just completely ignoring everything the Bible says about the End times.

I am a christian, not one a good one, and not a particularly well read in the scripture. I don't believe any End Times prophecy at all. But I don't think these people have even read the bible at all. They throw out and ignore most if not all of what the Prophets teach in the scriptures. They ignore all the major events that take place leading up to the End Times. They ignore the Bible scriptures almost completely.

Bad day for Christians and Christianity as a whole.
