Hey everybody! So I decided to make a build thread because I got really bored. So lets begin! I have a 1993 S13 SE hatchback. I bought it for $500. The previous owner didn't really want to mess with it anymore and thought it had a blown head gasket. Turns out it was only the radiator, water pump, and thermostat. It's been running perfectly fine ever since. Now on to the pics. Some of them have retarded angles. I was 15 when I bought it. The last owner didn't really take too much care of it so I have done a lot since then.

This is when I first saw it at the shop where my stepdad works:

This is when I brought it home:

Then I started researching about my car and started to buy parts and such.

Sleepy eyes:

Got these gay gauges which are pretty pointless:

Image

Removed that gay spolier:

Image

I tinted the windows and got some lowering springs:

Image

Painted center garnish on the tail lights:

Image

Got JDM side markers:

Image

Saw a GT-R one day at Wal-Mart:

Image

I did some other odd job things to my car as well. Like a new radio, removed the rear wiper, and replaced some things.

Then I got some S14 seats:

Image

They look way better than these POS seats I had:

Image

Got a new hatch. Got it painted and tinted and put it on:

Image

Image

Got new headlight housings and JDM turn signals:

Image

Got some HID's a few months ago:

Image

Image

Then my latest mod are the JDM window visors:

Image

And I still have this to put in:

Image

This is how it looks now:

5-speed swap is going to be done sometime soon. I have all the parts.

Recently ordered ISIS power steering line and Fortune Auto coilovers.

My other plans as of right now are:

-Remove dents and dings
-Repaint polar white
-LED's to replace all my filament bulbs
-Complete suspension overhaul (Coilovers, RUCA's, LCA's, etc.)
-Rims
-Type-X aero
-Kouki tail lights
-Either SR20 or RB20, but I'm leaning more towards SR

Well that's it. Thanks for looking. Feel free to comment or ask questions! :)

Damn i wish i knew how to do any of this. I have a 240sx i really want to fix up and decided to look at some 240sx forums, the only problem is i know nothing about cars, zero, zilch nada.
Where do i go to learn about the basics? Because i really want to know about cars but don't know where to start learning

Honestly, I just figured it out myself. Went to car forums and websites; did research about 240's. Get to know local 240sx enthusiasts. That's what I did. I still learn something new everyday.

My goal is to have a nice daily driver I can do a bit of spirited driving in every once and a while. This is more of a hobby to me than anything else. As fun as drifting looks and sounds, that's not all I want from the car.. But it doesn't mean I won't do it every now and then. ;)

For now, just XXR 002. Then later on, 5-lug swap and I was thinking Blitz Type 03's or TE-37's

Update! So today I put in the ISIS power steering line. I drove around for a few blocks. I noticed it felt firm and more responsive when turning the wheel. Goes right to the rack and gets rid of a few unnecessary hoses. Overall, I recommend it!

thats a really nice start, clean ride dude. Try to aim your headlight low because hid kits in non projector type headlights will blind oncoming traffic. If people flash you with their high beams than you are brobably blinding them. Good luck with your build.

Thanks man! Yeah, I have gotten the flashes a few times. Guess I should try to lower them a bit.

I'm too excited. Probably going to cut fender liner and zip tie harnesses later on today or tomorrow, then install coilovers before this weekend hopefully!

Update! Got the coilovers on. For coilovers, they are very comfortable! I recommend them! Went about an inch lower than I already was with my last setup. I'm liking it so far. Definitely going to need an alignment soon..

Also, put this sticker on.
