Tiny update. Just got some new LED lights for my parking lights so they would match my HID's. That's it for right now.

Got a replacement camera. So I decided to snap a few pics and mess around with them in Lightroom. Enjoy.

For your FA's what springs rates do you have? And for the frronts are you at the lowest setting?

I'm pretty sure it's 7K front and 6K rear. And no, they aren't. If I remove the collars, I could approximately go an 1 1/2"-2" lower.

Update! So, I finally got around to doing my 5-speed swap this weekend. In all honesty, I don't even know why I waited so long! Very simple. We ran into a few issues with the clutch fork.. But! We fixed that and everything is running smoothly now. I love my 5-speed!

Image

Only pic I have is when I tore out the auto transmission. I'm a horrible build picture taker if you haven't already noticed. :frown:

Now, I just have to wait for my Nismo shift knob and ISIS clutch line to come in!

Putting the throwout bearing on the fork is a bish! We went around taking turns trying t get it on, like 3-4 people taking 10 mins on each try, until we finally got it lolol.

Where did you get that room spoiler?

Car is coming along nicely! Very tasteful. Get a USDM Pig-nose front lip ;)
Are those SPL RUCAs as well?
Doing it right I see! Focusing on some suspension than anything!

EDIT

As far as the headlights, they look like ebay ones huh?
If you buy the more expensive ones, you will fall in love. Some cibies or Hellas have a cutoff and direct the light correctly, giving you and AWESOME light layout, without blinding others.

Well, the TO bearing is a lot easier when you have a press. Haha.

I got it from Enjuku Racing. I love it!

I was thinking about it actually! Just to get one for fun. And yes, those are SPL RUCA's. I also have SPL Rear Toe arms as well. ;)

Yeah, there are some cheap-o housings. I need to get new ones soon.

BALLLERR! haha. SPL parts are top of the line, good choice. Enjuku, about to go check them out, I've always wanted one.
I mean getting the TO bearing on the actual fork using the pin. There's one easy way, but it's not the right way. Then there is the hard, but correct, way.

Update! Got me some kouki tail lights!

Image

Lower panel is getting painted this week and hopefully I'll have it back some time next week. Then, its time to get some rims.

Also have these photos from a few months ago when me and a few other 240 guys got together for a photoshoot.

Update! Didn't have to work today, so I decided to tuck my wires and hammer in the pinch weld above the wheels. Right side was pretty straight forward. The left side was kind of a pain, had to bend the lip on the frame so the fender would go on properly. And broke some s*** a** rusty bolts

Also cut some more fender liner for more clearance for a little something special next week ;)

Pics (only have some from the right side):

Next week I should also be getting my lower panel for my kouki tails!

Well, I changed my gauge lights today..

Image

And I'm really not liking this uneven light distribution.

Oh well, I ordered better ones and I'm returning these. Hopefully I won't have this problem again.

Got them from http://www.v-leds.com Pretty much where I get all my LED's.

Update! I bought a Megan Exhaust, RSType Test pipe, and a knock off Hotshot header from my friend today for $125

Image

Also, ordered an ISIS EGR block off plate.

Hoping to get all this stuff on sometime before IA fall meet.

With the colors on the tip? I agree, but I don't really care, its just a temporary setup. When we straight piped it a few years ago, we welded straight to the stock exhaust manifold. So I'm trying to make it easier on me later on. I plan on getting a Blitz Nur Spec R exhaust sometime later on.

It's plug and play. Take the old bulbs out, put the new LED's in. Just make sure you have the right bulb when ordering.

Finally got my exhaust hanger issue solved!

Gave the exhaust some angle to it and made it sit higher up.

Also replaced an exhaust gasket and cut the tow hook off. My car sounds much better with the gasket replaced.

So how do you take the bulbs out of the cluster?? Do you have to rip everything apart to get to it? And can you send me the link to the led light you bought from that website so i can get a better idea of what im looking for... Thanks... and keep up the good work? Is some bodywork in the near future for your 240? I see some rocker rust, and the drivers side qp defedently needs some attention...!

^ You have to take the cluster out of the dash. It requires removing quite a bit of interior trim and then dropping the steering column. It's annoying the first time but really straight forward after you've done it before.

As far as lights, if you like red/amber, get some regular incandescent bulbs from the autoparts store. They will never give you the patchy lighting like led's do and they're cheaper. Downside is, they usually only come in red/orange, but I guess you could probably find some in other colors. Definitely better than using led's though as you don't have to worry about which kind to get.

Pretty much what AZ89 said. Its pretty straight forward once you figure it out. Only took me about 45 minutes to an hour to change them the first time.

http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED-Bulb ... 9-1-2.html

Pretty sure those were the ones I bought. I know they are the same bulb type. I bought 2 pairs because you'll need 3 bulbs. And yes, there is definitely some bodywork in the near future. I plan on getting the rocker panels, a few rust spots patched up, and then I'll get to the dent in the quarter panel.
