the Do-It-Yourself section of the manual shows you how to replace the bulbs if you have any particular questions, I can help answer them. Pretty easy, just got to be patient to avoid cracking the diffusers. I didn't want to insult anyone's intelligence by posting a guide. But if you're worried about breaking it I can try to post some pictures this weekend

I'm confused as to why interior lights being a color is illegal, its not like you use them when driving. I know its sort of not legal to drive with your map lights on but what difference does color make..oh well i'm, doin' it abnyway and thanks for the offer LBC, I just noticed it this morning (I was a little tipsy yesterday) and ended up ordering 2 pair off ebay.

blue and red lights are illegal... or are deemed so in NY and NJ by the porkers... "lighting violation".... Went to court over blue inside my car... they said they let me off easy instead of issuing "impersonating"... what a crock...

Its a big YLPV (your local pigs vary).... I just stayed away from them after that..

Its all a matter of your tolerance for tickets... I have a heavy foot, and out of state plates bc of insurance...

The cops around me on long island (snobby area) are amongst the tightest assed people on earth... (suffolk county cops get highest wages in US!)..

So when they nail me for going 85 in a 55... i bust out my pba, fop, etc badges and nonsense... and they will 80% of the time let it slide... 18% of the time they will give me a mickey mouse tint ticket instead.... 2% get speeding ticket....

The more "fast and furious" you make your car look, is directly proportional to the hard on the cops get for you around here...

I would have cut my front plate n shoved it in the grill but the mount was already on the car... im jealous of all u guys who have SMOOOTH bumper..

Hey guys i really wanna do this to my car. Id like to change the door panel lights to amber, to give it that stock look. i think it will look really nice reflecting off the ground at night, as well as the map lights and dome light. Just to make sure....Which bulbs do i need? And does each light setup use the same bulb or do i need a different type for each? which bulb is best?

Would these be good for the doors and maplights?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...photo

And how many does each require? just one bulb per light?

Would these be better for the dome light?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...photo

Thanks

refer to the bulb thread for the bulb #, i believe they are 194s. As far as the map light, I would recommend getting like a 5 or 6 leds per bulb for the the light to be spreaded out evenly or you'll have a circle effect

I replaced my altima sedan interior lights with these hid white leds

I replaced map lights with these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...QrdZ1

I replaced license plate and other lights with these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...photo

Notes: for altima sedans, license plate light bulbs are facing out (horizontally) not facing down. so you need light bulbs similar to above. These light bulbs are excellent, very powerful. I love the lights on my license plate. Looks very bright and similiar to IS250/IS350 license plate lights. Very satisfied!

There are total of 9 light bulbs you'll need to change out6 interior light bulbs, 2 bulbs for license plate, 1 for trunk

These covers are so easy to open, just use a small flat-head screwdriver w/ a soft cloth or paper towel (to avoid scratch the covers) and just pop them out. Caution: the stock light bulbs might be hot (if lights were on for a long time).
