Hi,
I have a 2007 Infiniti M35 with manual folding mirrors. Is there a way to convert it to power folding mirrors?
I have been looking online for Infiniti and Nissan mirror motors that might fit but I am not sure. Any suggestions? Thank you.

You won't find anything because it doesn't exist. When I said custom I mean from scratch. You'll need to find a fab shop that could build you the motorized housing that could mount directly the the existing mirror mount, then you need to build a circuit that will actuate the motors after the engine is turned off or maybe just install a simple switch. While you're at it may as well install LED turn flashers.

IMO if you're really jones'ing to spend money and have already bought every possible bolt-on and tweak possible for your car, spend it on vacations and see the world. Cars aren't worth it ever.

Funny thing is I remember reading this thread but it's the G37 mirrors. Not sure if they would fit (Fit and finish) on our older M's.

My 2004 maxima had power folding mirrors and heated steering wheel.
Not sure why these were left out on 2006+ Ms.

Actually, a power rear shade was available on the 2006 to 2010 M. I have it on my 2008 M45X. It is very useful in helping to keep the interior of the car cool on hot, sunny, summer days (particularly the rear seat area). It was offered as part of the premium package, IIRC, which included the heated, reclining rear seats, the upgraded 14-speaker Bose audio and the rear DVD entertainment system.

I do not believe it is available on the current generation of M. Just another example of how they have de-equipped the 2011 to 2013 M in several small areas. My personal pet peeve is that the newest generation no longer has the dual front sun visor system, which I find very useful. I would also love to have power, folding mirrors.
