Getting better wheels, the kit and a system. The car has existing adjustable ride so we just added the jdm controller and as soon as its done well have it slammed.

Yes. Please confirm details on the conversion.elwesso wrote:How bad was the conversion??? I assume most stuff swapped right over from the Q45?
It's adjustable ride height from the factory, Q45a is not like that is it? How do they do it if not air, like everyone else, hydraulics? I don't know much about G50, never claimed to, but Ron mentioned it can be slammed by the simple installation of an aftermarket height controller, so I assumed it's gotta be air.elwesso wrote:air suspension???
Whoa. . how much of a range can it be lifted / lowered?elwesso wrote:its far more than that.... but yes, you can directly control ride height with the controller. but calling it an "air suspension" is a disgrace!!!
The total stroke on the strut is 5.7". I would think that would mean you could lower or raise the car at least 2 inches from the normal height..KoukiS14 wrote:Whoa. . how much of a range can it be lifted / lowered?
This is news to me. .
VERY cool -- I was looking for a Q, actually. I may get one later on, once the QX4 is paid for. It hard to find Q45A in good shape?elwesso wrote:

Yeah, pretty much impossible to find one that doesnt need work, unless its from here on NICO... The active, for what it is, is pretty easy to work on.. Unless its completely trashed, most of the time all it needs is the 9 new recharged accumulators and some fresh active fluid... Which would cost around 1000 to restore the active. But once its done, youll be driving something that is like nothing else... A 4000lb sedan with basically no body roll, no dive or squat, and probably one of the smoothest rides ever.KoukiS14 wrote:

but kevin, it came free of charge!!!Falkdesigns wrote:I didn't need a lecture on what the Q45a suspension is, I just didn't know it was the same suspension on the President and Q45a .
