honestly vlsd is okay for drifting but it makes a world of a difference if you have something like a nismo or kazz 2-way clutch lsd. You'll really notice the difference,of course like nismo_freak said the vlsd is far better then then any open diff.anyways, like I said before I didn't mean to put it a bad manner. it's just that if you apply too much power to a vlsd, one wheel will still spin more then the other, and please don't tell me that you can exit a drift cleanly without swerving. "it just aint going to happen" - dont believe me try it. You'll drift okay but you're exit will be a one wheel wonder.-

-anywho, good job on that swap, I'm glad that there are some very handy people on this forum.

they aren't too expensive eighter, I got mines for alittle over $800 with installation included.

I may look into Kaaz or cusco next year but this one is doing fine right now. I don't have any problem entering or exiting drifts and I never noticed any problem with Formers drifts either, I dunno.

I've searched both NICO and Google, but I can't find much... How much is the Spec V helical limited slip? I'm considering the upgrade from my viscous...

Are you absolutely sure you have a viscous? Generally FWD cars have Quaife-type helical LSDs because they transfer power very progressively and smoothly.

I think you probably have an open diff. The spec has a compleatly different engine and transmission and I don't think you can just swap that. I would check http://www.thevboard.com Thats where I go for spec v and ser info. BTW why just get the hlsd when you can get the whole care. Mine is for sale.
