you dont want to know, not including labor with the so called shop that helped me,roughly 8k. thers alot that goes into it.you`d have to research alot.if you know your sh**, you can do a super low buget build with an iron 5.3 block for roughly 4k. but that also heavy, not as good etc etc. doin everything yourself, mount kit and everything, headers, i could go on.

EXACTLY, the color on that car is gorgeous. matched with the wheels you have, its a recipe for win.

Very clean swap.I'm planning on an ls2 swap within the next year.I have been researching and was hoping I would be one of the first in sacramento with this swap... Guess notI was wondering where you did the swap? How much of the work did you do yourself?Where did you buy your engine from? I cant find an ls2 for any less than 6k, hoping there is a good source near sac.I also would like to know how you dealt with smog.Sorry man, I just dont know many people who have done the swap.I'm on silvia v8 forum too, but very few people are in california. let alone Sac.

Great sources, thank you for the information.I would love to see your swap in person, you just dont get the feel for the presence a v8 has when you look at pictures. Have you been to any 240 meets in Sac? There have been a few that were supose to get together, I was out of town for the couple I knew about unfortunatly. My swap is on hold for about 6 months untill I get my house but it would be an invaluble source to have someone in the area who has already done the LS swap. That in a pinch I could talk to. I'm wondering where near sac your at, im not familiar with SacramentoISH. I live in Orangevale, but am not sure if thats close to SacramentoISH.

what is your camber settings, and what size is your tires in your pictures? also how much did you have to pull your fenders? and one more question, if you could take a picture going down the side of your car showing how far the wheels poke i would greatly appreciate it.

stock back(wanting to upgrade soon with some kind of rear suspension package that doesnt break the bank)

front is pretty stock.

255 35 18 front 275 35 18 back 9.5 wide all around with 15+

fenders are puller i`d say 1/4 in back and 1/16 front. have to fix that though and im going to do a lil more in the rear someday.

and the pic, that may take a few but ill get it up here sometime for ya

ps: you can kind of tell in the second pic and another one, stick out about pretty flush with the back and 1/8 in the front
