thanks for all the compliments everyone! :) I finally got a chance to lower the back today. I also found out that even though I can make it up my driveway fine going sideways, that's not the case going in reverse lol

heres a vid of me backing into my driveway to install the rear springs.

At first I was like "Oh he didn't scrape that bad." Then you kept going and I saw the fascia get pulled forward :rotfl

And I still haven't lowered my car (had it since October 20, 2007). Almost bought coilovers at one point but decided to buy a lot of small things instead of one big thing. Got an almost new Canon 30d, built a bicycle (that cost me way too much), intake, and a lot of food and gas. Then had HR springs but gave them to a friend. Then almost bought Eibachs but had to do some fixing up to all the little scrapes and what not on my car.

Once I get some cash flowing I am hopping on coils and then wheels and I'll be happy for a while

I doubt that. Once you start, you're never happy.

Oh no I agree I will never be done. But I will definitely be happy once I get some rims and a drop

funny thing is, my driver side front is lower then my passenger side front.

and

my passenger side rear, is lower then my driver side rear.

lol but in a couple weeks when everything settles in it should balance out. the gap between my tire and fender is like 1 inch. passenger side is only slightly higher. my front is pretty damn low. I didnt expect for it to be that low. mikey has a 2.5s with a stillen front fascia and eibach springs but it seems like mine is a lot lower then his was. maybe I'm just seeing things... only way to know for sure is when we pull up next to each other again

your 120 and I'm 215 so I'm practically the weight of you plus 1 fat chick lol so after the springs settle in, will the higher side drop to the height of the lower side? or will the lower side raise to the height of the higher side? I'd assume it would get lower but this is my first lowered car so idk

I had this issue as well with my Eibachs, except my rear passenger was higher. Hope yours eventually even out.

Congrats on lowering your car finally, it looks way better than the stock height.

it's totally okay for guys to be fat. i mean, it is what we do. your beer/man belly is something to be proud of. it's like wearing a sheriff badge when you walk into a bar. people will look at you and just know that you are a total keg killer, man. plus, women love fat things! :bigthumb:

but either way, i weigh 260lbs. so i have you all beat lol.

lol im like 2 mikeys in a trench coat hahaha.

I guess I have this "title" now. July 14th is it's birthday. Well, actually May 25 is but it was used as a showroom centrepiece for 6 weeks.
