i was refering to use of the system in cunjunction with an e-manage. I have nothing against alcohol wd. I used to work at a honda dealer (motorcycles for all you haters out there) in chicago and we had some good alcohol setups un drag bikes. Even ran some all motors that ran alcohol only. Tough on the carbs though.

Yeah, Sil80 was right, your gonna catch hell for that one. The aquamist kit is basically the same thing as any alcohol kit except you have a low volume pump and it sprays water. Granted, water has a better cooling effect on the combustion then Denatured alcohol does. But you wwon't ever catch me spraying somthing inside my engine that doesn't go boom when you put a spark to it.

WD water will go boom when you spry it into a cyliner under boost mixed with other fuel. WATER IS 2 PART OXYEGEN and 1 PART NITROGEN they will both burn!

7-8 psi!! oh boy! I always thought it wasn't too safe, cuz when your aclohol reservoir runs dry, ur engine runs amok, but hell, if I can only run 7 psi on stock internals, and then safely add another 7...!!!I am getting an alcy kit right MEOW!Or at least when I'm putting the turbo setup together.

ITM - I say we use mad internal pressures, and run pure water. It would be SO environmentally friendly. Greenpeace would kiss our feet.

Erm...water is 2 parts Hydrogen, 1 part oxygen (H2O). They both still burn but I think you've told us the composition of NAWS (NO2). 'Two bottles, big ones'

Cheers,

Matt

Most of the GN guys use a mixture like 75% alcohol and 25% distiled water. I say go with a gallon of glass cleaner it will keep the valves and the piston crowns clean.

Window cleaner is around 50% alki 20% amonia and 30% H20......

Yea well my point was they would both burn. It's been a few years since chemistry.

If I'm gonna mix anything with water it will be methonal...Other then that, denatured at the highest concentrate I can find it. I dunno about this window cleaner idea Techno...I'll let you play around with that. Yes water will burn, but I don't believe it will at the temps inside the combustion area. I dunno, I'm no chemestry whiz.

The kit I use is boost activated. Works great, simply run low boost when you don't wanna run alcohol, then flip the switch when you wanna race and the alcohol comes on at whatever predetermined amount of boost you set it for. You can also adjust the volume of alcohol sprayed into the intake. So you don't bog out or run stupid rich.
