Hey Mark, bring your *** out to the meet Saturday! I've already seen the King Ranch, so you'll just have to bring the M Dave won't be able to make it, but hopefully Cullen will make it out. Cullen's little brother bought a nice 2000 Max and should be there as well.

Haha show up. I like your car enough to buy it, just can't swing a new car at this point. But hey, just ask Mark. Have you decided what you're getting next?

I cant swing it either. LOL. I have a 2006 H2 on order. Anybody know would be interested in a 2004 Escalade?

Steve, you going with the charger?

No, as much as I would like the charger, I'm going with the "family plan" and buying my dad's caddy. I guess "this IS your father's Cadillac". I actually like the Maxima better in most ways, but the price is right and the miles are lower.

OK guy's, here's the plan as it stands for Saturday.

6:30 Hooter's Dutchmans Lane (I doubt anyone needs directions)9:00 Meet at the Audubon Hospital Parking Garage. Map and directions on page 35.

Let me know if you plan on going to Hooters so we can try to get enough seating.

I won't do the hooters thing, but I'll try for the parking garage.Hooters = bad taste. (food and otherwise)

When's the next "daytime" meet? Weekend nights are about the only time my wife and I have to ourselves.

I think 6:20-6:30 will be the earliest anyone shows up at Ernesto's.

I talked to Cullen last night, he is going to make it to the garage tonight. I knew all it would take to get him out was the mention of the M5.

Hope all went well tonight. I got the car all cleaned up this morning and then pulled a back muscle. Getting old is the pits, but it beats the alternative.

Yeah, no doubt. I was fine until I hit 40. Since then, I have had to have my gallbladder removed, I'm having problems with a hernia, and I just don't have the energy I used to have. Kinda like someone threw a switch...

Threw a switch? I can pinpoint the date and time my problem started. 1994, summer 3pm.Someone steps out of the boat, I grab the dock clete and 5 seconds later my back pops as I try to keep the boat from drifting away. Now three times a year I end up flat on my back for a weekend. Oh well, life goes on. Life after 40 hasn't been too bad... all 2 years of it. It's only when I get too old to drive that age will REALLY bother me.

True that. I can finally start affording better toys. Well, once I get my other house sold and don't have to pay two house payments, life will be awesome

Hope you're feeling better Steve. You didn't miss anything at the meet. Dinner ended up being a bust, and we only got to drool over the M5 for about 15 minutes before the cops showed up and ran everyone off. The M5 is absolutely beautiful though, I can't even begin to describe how off-the-hook it is...just an amazing piece of machinery.

Yeah, the M5 is a real machine. good quality, nice materials, 500 hp, handling... who could ask for much more? Free. I could ask for FREE. Free is a good thing. We need more stuff for free. How about severely discounted. Can I at least have that?
