and i could make it to no problem... but it's like 2 hours... Gulfport dragway is a kinda poduck place but they race every wednesday night just FYI they have lotsa cars out there

just checked out gulfport dragway's website they have listed on their calender that July 5th will be "all sport compacts". it be sweet if we could all go!

I'm about to move to Inianapolis to go work for Team 23...I have to come back down in August for college...I'd really like to go to NPR and meet you fellows...Me and a friend will definitley go at the end of September as he will be turning 18 and wants to see what his cars got....we have a little bet going as to whether the KA24E automatic will beat his KA24DE 5 spd...can't wait to put him in the dirt...lol...of course i have more mods than him...he roams this site, but doesn't post that often...he goes by the screename 2fast2furious....

How about the 25th for the test and tune at NPR? Those are pretty good nights to go...its not all imports, but hey...I'm sure I will make the import tuners race in October, hopefully with a few more mods than what I have now...

I'm in the B.R. area also and when i get my 240 i would like to swap an sr20det in it. are there any shops around here who would do this?

welcome to nico, and not to be an ***, but search please, its the button at the top of the menu, and there will be plenty of places in there that will answer your question , as it has been asked plenty of times, but no, i dont know anywhere near here personally thta does the swaps, sorry, good luck finding one tho, and let us know when u do, it'd help a lot of people out

the closest place that i know of is in texas. i don't know the name off hand but i can tell you that if you go to Baldwin Motors in Covington, talk to Jon Baldwin (big car nut has 2 ferrari's). he has a few "conections". hell he even might be able to help you out with the swap. you should definatly check him out.

I'm a student at LSU but am working in Florida for the summer and would love to meet at NPR at the end of summer or in september, and check out lightning motorsports is Baton Rogue's industroplex some of the guys there could install a sr20 after hours.

wow i hope not, haha, actually i think the rev limiter kicks in before then , the only car i've seen that was able to bounce the tach needles was a 74 corvette stingray, 427!, wow was that thing nice

yah... i had a crx hf with a B16 that is where the avatar is from so much fun when your engine can go 300 RPM past the tach! Its cool to see it go from one side to the other too

There's a shop off of Industrialplex Blvd. between Airline and Seigen that would probably do it. I think it's called Lightening Motorsports.
