basically
unless your going for drag the engine is the first and last thing, i say first because from day 1 that you pick up your 240 you need to make it reliable and always perform, no modding just making it function perfectly, there is no substitiution for a well maintained engine, next you should focus on the suspension if you drifting autox etc.. the suspension is so often overlooked and its very important to making the car handle predictably like you need it to, in addition to replacing those old bushings and or replacing with pillowball and adjustability, its not the part thats important its the adjustability, the correct alignment is really important and is really noticible when driving. braking is also important cause you dont wanna go fast and not stop haha that should be with or even before susupension. wheels and grip before turbo
IMO people shouldnt upgrade there engine when driving until they know how to drive there underpowered car because there is plenty of drivers who only get 130-150 lbs to the wheel who destroy pretty hard, and in the end your a better driver for it[/quote]
its really hard to pick what you want/need the most when building on a budget. nearly every aspect of this car will most likely be upgraded at some point. realistically the turbo motor wont be done for quite some time. that gives me some time for some other upgrades. the first on the list is probably a 5 speed swap. a new clutch, flywheel will be installed before the transmission's put in to save me the hassle of dropping the transmission again. or 2 way limited slip. i havent looked in to any brake upgrades...at all. the prices scare me
if anyone finds non-vented widebody fenders that arent 50,70mm post em up!
