I still have both alternators if you are interested. I didn't hear back from you so I assumed the issue was resolved.

For the guys that have done the quest alternator, I need to know why most of you selected the 110amp version. There is only a 10 dollar difference between the 110 and 125 amp versions, and they both have the same 2-pin plug, which is the same as the Z32 as well. They also appear to be identical when it comes to mounting

I believe it because there is no reason to overkill with charging. Alternators don't magically make electricity. They need more force to make more power. I don't see any need for anything above 110. With everything in my car on max I won't even see 90. I'm running dual I30 fans and HID lights with my silvia conversion. I only have a light stereo system with 4 4-way speakers. And the RB eats a only very small share.
