Anyone have an RB26 crankshaft bolt and washer laying around that they'd be willing to part with? I've been looking all around for one and haven't had much luck, it's the bolt that holds the harmonic balancer to the crank.

Please send me a PM if ya got one :)

Thanks

Do some searching pretty sure I posted about this a long long time ago. I got a bolt from Fastenal and made a washer from some hardened steel. For the bolt I chucked it up on a lathe to put that central chamfer/spot drill for a puller.

Yup, Rawbrokerage was my first stop. I sent them an email a little while ago, but they don't have any right now.

I found your post here, lots of good info :yesnod

Looks like that's the route I'll be going if I can't find an OEM one.

I actually called ARP to find out how much it would cost to have one made, but it was gonna be over $500 :frown:

Was the bolt you ordered from Fastenal an off the shelf part? I'm probably gonna buy this one and see if it'll work.

Thanks for the help guys :dblthumb:

That looks like it to me! Glad you were able to dig up that old info! Id go the fastenal method to save time... I had zero luck finding a stock 26 bolt and washer someone was willing to give up. Honestly I still have my 26 or 25 bolt and washer setup and no 25 or26?! But I won't give it up lol... (Can't remember which I used for the 30)..
