My friend has a Rogue SL. It's his first Nissan and has liked it so far. I think he has 80,000 miles with a rough commute over mountains up to 4x a day. The CVT is still holding strong.

That red is gorgeous. You are colorblind :gapteeth:

I've had 3 cars that color and Kristen has had one.

On the other hand - I DO NOT want black again, except maybe on a couple of certain vehicles. The QX4 showed every scratch and was impossible to keep clean.

We also didn't end up getting the Rogue. I think the dealership mistook us saying, "We don't mind if our payment goes up a little..." for us actually saying "We don't mind if our payment goes us by $100 or more a month". So I told them thank you for their time and we'd come back later with a good down payment. Honestly though - We will not likely buy new, but they seemed convinced that they could put us in a new vehicle for the range we were looking in.

The current plan is to sit it out for a little longer and take a good chunk of cash with us next time. The Jeep's value has dipped quite a bit and i'm not willing to rack up more negative equity to hurry up and get out of it. It's not hurting us to keep driving it, so that's what we'll keep doing until we can work out a deal that benefits us.

Have I mentioned that I like the way you think?
