FM mod works well, and you can wire it into the aux port behind the console so you dont have wires running around.

the ipod kit is plug and play, should not involve splicing /cutting wires. labor is for removing the radio, bezel. the install is minutes.

The one they have is more of an aftermarket. The Nissan one is around $300, so its out as an option as well based on wife's decision.

FM mod is probably the way I'll go, she's in no big hurry.

Now if this cruise can get fixed easily...

New steering wheel buttons did fix the cruise control, so at least that was good news.
