I wasn't planning on using that harness at all so I can switch back to the KA WHEN/IF the CA breaks... The plugs that I think broke are the O2 sensor plug, a couple of the coil pack plugs, one injector plug (no big deal), and a big plug that goes in the front of the motor near the throttle body.

I have an extra coilpack harness (or two maybe) laying around. Next time you're in orlando grab one.

Awesome...I definitely need that.

And as for the pics, they aren't working at the moment because I am switching webhosting companies...they should be working again by Tuesday... (I hope).

I had the alternator and starter tested today. Alternator is putting out almost 15volts, so that is in good shape. The starter on the other hand is deader than dead. So looks like that is getting rebuilt.

My next question... I took a look at the CA18 ECCS site and it lists the ecu # I have as an automatic. Why that is I have no idea... but, can you use an auto ECU in a 5spd?

I got the head off!

I got pissed tonight and refused to pay a machine shop... I just hammered the socket into the bolt head. I got a long breaker bar while pushing down on the bolt as hard as I possibly could and I cracked it loose. I am pumped!

Yep. But at least I didn't pay like $1600 for it and it ended up like this! It's not like I am in a giant hurry to get it in the car. My KA still runs fine. I don't mind taking my time and thoroughly going through the motor. When it's done, it will be up to par and in tip top shape. It actually worked out good for me. See, I have a problem with saving money. There is no way I could have saved up $1,200+ to drop on a motorset. This way I can do it little by little. Like I can buy a gasket set one week... a week later get the timing components... oil pump the week after that, etc. LOL, maybe by the end of summer I'll get it in the car
