Heh, just to be a whore, a brown recluse is a hunting spider, hense they do not build webs : )
and that's f*cking massive for a brown recluse dude. There use to be another house where mine is now and when they tore it down there was a huge nest of brown relcuses so we have them really bad here. That's about the biggest that they get, and that's huge for one. And it is Orvilla btw, the males don't get over the side of about a dime and have slighty different coloration : )
And the degree of their damage relates to your reaction to them. Their venom is acually a neuro-toxin *spelling?* which in about 1 in every 534 people causes the nerve pathways to break down, hense making the body believe that that section is "dead" and stops sending nutrition to it, making it rot. Usually by the time it has rotted a limb off you'll be dead from shock : ) I'm one of the lucky people. My bro and I are both immune to the bite, it just leaves a painful, hard red bump. My mom on the other hand was bitten and almost lost her pinkie finger. The easiest to treat a brown recluse bite is to wrap the infected area with a gause wrap filled with meat tenderizer, this will draw out the poison, just incase something happens AunVoh : )
Oh and be really careful because if you're hyper alergic to it there's no cure. A girl in Arkansa died within 6 hours of being bitten by one about a year ago.

ok i have been on a rampage of leaving rather stupid but imaginative responses as of late, but this is real i promise. this kid i know in my marine biology class got bitten by one of those a few weeks ago, his knee swelled up to the size of a soccer ball, well he was already fat, and then in the emergency room they had to cut a 2" gash under his kneecap and suck all of that pus fluid out. it also ripped open that little sac in your knee that provides all that lubrication so that the joint can move.
P.S. he's a fat nascar guy, so when they asked him if they could fill his knee with fat from his fat ***, he told them to use pennzoil. jk and no offense to all you fat asses and nascar fat asses alike

Hey Aunvoh, if you should get a love kiss from Orvilla, your finger would rot off so you'd have to type with yer elbows and toes.
I saw a fangs and stings documentary on Discovery channel a while back. They had these two peeps who were bit by the brown recluse, man it was not a pretty sight.
This one lady lost 3 fingers, then it cleared up............only it was still in her system and came back and took the other 2 fingers.
One guy was bit on his right shoulder, man he looks like Raziel from Soul Reaver (playstation game)
One of the worst poisons is those African Killer Bees.......nasty evil little MOTHA Fu<kers...........they keep stinging u till u drop.

I have the magazine and just double checked on animal planet site thingy, its a year oh wait it depends on where you live. Its a year here I remember last month eating cereal right before I put it in my mouth I noticed a bunch of spider webs dead insect and other random **** warpped up globbed and haning on my spoon with a few spiders there. I don't eat cereal anymore (true). I also remeber grilling a prok chop and grilled 2 daddy long legs onto my pork. I still eat it but its hard.
