Well Toyota and Renault do have a partnership with each other.

If it does in fact have the 2L turbo from Subaru will it be the same drivetrain as the WRX or will this be a whole new engine? If it is the same as the current WRX then expect to see a lot of these being modded right out of the gate. My question is will you be getting those factory go fast parts from TRD or STi?

I wasn't aware of one, which is why I asked. Renault and Nissan are the same company. Wasn't aware Renault had anything going on with Toyota.

They might not, I thought they did have a partership with Toyota, but all of these car company alliances/partnerships have me confused. Next thing you know Ferrari will have a secret alliance with Nissan via Alfa via GM.

Yeah, I always assumed "FT" stood for "Fuji Toyota" to highlight the join effort.

I figured FT on any toyota car meant "Female Transport".
