I would go GN way before the Monte land yacht, I had a very similar 85 SS. Course I jerked out the 305 and dropped in a 400 SB with N2O.

Seriously though, look into the GN's. Sexy cars, hella fast for basically nothing.

yeah, gn's are awesome, that would be such a cool car to have. All you people that know domestics, why is it so hard to find a 91-92 camaro z-28 with a 350 and a 5 speed? I have wanted one of these cars forever but all the ones I find either have an auto or the crappy 305. Are they rare or everyone just keeps them once they have one?

I have a 83 monte SS, its cool but nothing beats last 2 years of work, 87 GN running 9.41 in the 14 here in tx. only 6 cylinders and beating vettes all day. haha. oh yeah it was expensive as **** to get it that fast too. heh.

sixxdeuce, i highly doubt you will find a z28 with 5spd. tat T5 wasnt all that strong in comparision to the t56, ya know? the only 5spd TPI camaro is a 305, not 350. thats as far as the IROC goes but beyond that im not sure. v8 is great but why do that? high insurance, lots of gas, etc.. but the torque is kickass at times. hehe
