Long term effects of Xylene or Toluene?

I've used Xylene and Toluene on and off over the last few years with no ill effects. I was wondering about long term effects with heavy usage, if any? I've heard many things, good and bad. I want to hear about other peoples personal experiences.

Both those Chemicals are used by the oil industry to increase octane, as long as you didnt over do it, there should be no ill effects, I never had any probems running it, but it just wasnt worth the hassle, thats why I switched to E85, its SOOOO cheap
