"I think [Lieberman] owes it to the American people to look into the camera and tell them the truth," adviser Robert Gibbs said.

Boo-freakin' hoo.

Wonder where Gibbs was when Slick Willie lied through his teeth.

Oh, the irony.

Lieberman is almost as senile as McCain. There should be age limits on politicians.

There are many old people who are very competent, mind you. Lieberman, I thought, did a very good job with his speech. He seemed pretty well put together up there if you asked me.

When Lieberman mentioned former President Clinton last night he got a huge round of applause. I guess the Republicans still remember the good old days like I do.

Bahahaaaaaaa

Yet Lieberman was competent 4 years ago to be the Vice President candidate for the Democrats and ..... Two years ago beat the pants of Ned Lamont the Democratic Candidate for Senate in Conn.

Let's see, Joe Lieberman has been your guy in the Senate, Representing Conn since 1989. The dumbocrats throw Lieberman under the bus (it appears to be going around) over his support of the Iraq War and put up Ned Lamont. You put up a candidate against your own incumbent Senator in the primaries, WTF??? Lamont beats Lieberman in the Primary. Lieberman goes solo, runs as an independent and the Dumbocrats get pissed and throw Lieberman out of the party. He finally ends up beating Ned Lamont in the Senate race and where it turns out that the Dems really need him in order to secure a majority in the Senate. Doh!

Great thinking guys! In my book Lieberman is the man.

Which convention were you watching last night? We had both Fox and MSNBC on; that applause for Clinton was lukewarm compared to most of the other applause during Lieberman's speech.

It's not enough to demean working mothers, now you've added cancer victims, unwed mothers, disabled babies and the elderly to the list.

Gotta love the party of unity, acceptance and love.

Incidentally, Liebermann complimented Clinton during his speech... Coupled with McCain's classy "nice work" compliment to BO, this tells me which side is being gracious, and which side is digging deeper and deeper into baseless and spineless personal attacks.

Both of those people should be tossed out of office. I resent their "representing" me ... totally unacceptable politicians.

Another well enunciated issue based post from you.

The dems tried to throw Leiberan under the bus and he stomped your replacement. The man has more character in his little finger than most politicians have in their whole self and staff. Notice I didn't single out dems either.

no they don't but they are coming up with answers to the right questions. Questions of substance and relevance while the left if trying to see what color Palin's panties are. I am embarrassed for you and you party.

Let's try it again. The left couldn't be happier about Palin. She is an endless supply of controversy and amusement. BTW, the left isn't the one with the MILF bumper sticker in their sig, so comments about panties may be misdirected.

She is a MILF, and a GILF, and a damned good candidate soon to be a VPILF.

Don't hate man, we know it sucks knowing we have a VP more vetted by actual results of any kind than your P.

Why not just write in Miss October, she is more qualified according to your selection criteria...

How about Miss November?

She is more qualified as a candidate than Obama is and she is the second tier candidate on our ticket. You put the demographic before the resume.

I'm waiting a few hours come to a conclusion about her. For now, she seems to be semi-decent at the jobs she has had, not factoring in her typical fundie positions.

Lieberman, OTOH, seems to be mainly driven by Zionism, and went from being an afterthought to a complete joke in my book. I haven't even looked up what he said at the RNC, as he crossed into the domain of irrelevance a long time ago.

Wow. STOP saying that palin has more experience with political issues than obama. That is an absurd conclusion. WHAT are you basing this on??? and please dont tell me she has run a state government. As I stated before ANY mayor of a mid to large size metro area deals with ALOT more domestic and international issues than the position she holds. As a us senator and even as a legislator from illinois he has more experience with a wide variety of issues. Please speak the truth, they are both woefully inexperienced for the positions they are running for. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing in my opinion.

Yes, let's speak truth. List me all the things Obama has actually DONE . I'll wait, it may take a while i know with his broad resume off accomplishments. Milling around on the senate floor doesn't count

Hmmmm. The preseason is over, the NFL is back and the Redskins are on. Redskins > any level of politics. I don't care if Ronald Reagan came back to life, I think I know what I will be watching. There is a story that Reagan went to a Redskins game when he was President. He was made to park his limo behind Jack Cooke's limo. Only one man that that kind of power in DC.

If NBC cuts into the game, I am going to be pissed. Incidently, I registered in a raffle to win Bears/Colts tickets for Sunday. I hope we win.bud

And I would also think that Rudy has experience with community organizers, since NYC has plenty of them. Don't have a job? Become a community organizer!
