I'm sorry.... we keep going over this again and again... I don't know if what was done is right or not, I'm not the one to judge. I have no idea what criteria the mods had and so ....!?!?!?

but I would like to see K on the boards, besides his comedic relife, he was quite knowledgble (i can't spell worth crap).

Sometimes things happen and once it's done you can't do anything to change it. I can't say if again it was right or wrong... only the people involved can say that. even with that said, they can't do anything to change it....

I have read the posts by Ezcheese and you and i understand why. but hwat I don't understand was why My post was locked/closed cause i brought it up weather or not k should still be a moderator. I know that it will change nothing, but It was just some thing to bs and talk about. Oh well in the same I do hope to see K stick around, I was just getting used to his s hit oh well.

Because it's not open for discussion.

Posting a poll in order to garner some sort of "consensus" only leads the uninformed to believe it was a flexible decision that can be reversed. No reason to confuse people or to muddy the water with further misinformation. It certainly wasn't personal, but it's divisive and serves no positive purpose.

Understood.... I just disagree. It sucks to see threads locked up all willy nilly just because it is a 'sensitive' subject. Who cares if people are misinformed. Locking the threads will only fuel that. People read too far into it, and it makes you mods look bad, as if you're trying to cover something up. Let it be, let people talk.

I don't give a star-spangled rat tird who is responsible for what. I think the situation sucks and it makes it worse when you prevent people from talking about it. I hope it doesn't just "go away" like some other debatable issues have. I hope people continue to post about it. I could care less if the situaion never gets reversed (he says knowingly), but I think the underhanded BS is quite obvious, and it should be discussed so that people can se what goes on behind closed doors.

Greg - I respect your difference of opinion, but the facts are indisputable.

I don't know how many times I have to repeat it - nothing underhanded occurred (unless, by your definition, underhanded means that those placed in charge by a higher authority came to a consensus on something and executed the agreed-upon plan).

Again, re-read EZ's sticky and my post, it's very clear.

You mean ignored your relayed guidance to K. He posted before saying he was not warned. It doesn't seem like he has any reason to blatenly lie to everyone, and he's never lied to anyone before (except to Two Forty with the dipstick thread...).

Also, everytime a comment was made, either myself or Fred notified Daunttless, since kcar and daunt are friends, to talk to kcar about the situation. We felt it was better to communicate through daunttless, so that we did not sound as harsh. (It is usually nicer coming from a friend).

Wow thats great that no one could grow a set and be blunt with K himself. My boss doesn't come whining to me when one of my co-workers misses a shift, he talks to them directly, he doesn't talk to anyone else, not managers, nothing, he talks directly to the person to get the point across. K seems like a very resonable person, anyone should have been able to approach him. A bunch of grown men can't talk or even yell at each other?

K was a good mod cause he was constantly locking useless and redundant threads. He actually kept the flow of some of the boards going. The fact that he was "mean" to members is simply stupid. Answering stupid questions in a correct and demeaning (sp) fashion makes people use their heads before they post. God forbid there is a mod that has a unique way of dealing with morons:rolleyes .

ONce again it must be repeated. K was Daunt's baby. He was Jr. mod status. We tell Daunt, then Daunt tells K. K was Daunt's responsibility as he was his choice not ours.

Hitler had a 'unique' way of dealing with people he didn't aprove of as well.

Apexi, obviously as posted in other threads or this(I can't remember anymore to much to read) some members did think he was "mean" and us mods agreed. Just because you did not find that the case has no influence on the matter at hand. People complained, mods complained end of story.

Exactly K kept friggin martial law around here much better than any mod ive ever seen. It use to be that newbies would post 5 or 6 useless threads. So many more useless threads appeared when K wasn't around. (like this one right here!)
