If so, could you provide me with the paint number. The numberis located embossed on a 2 in.X 3in. aluminum plaque loated on the firewall of our 240's.

I have a coupe like your's and it's in need of a paint job. I am looking for a slightly different color from the present gold that mine is. I don't want too go too radical because of the interior color match.

Thanks.

IvoryJ30T, thanks for the response and info. I don't currently need assistance in getting into a locked car but truth to tell, that has happened to me and my family.

Do you or did you get involved into the repo business. I'm sure you aware of those TV documentaries concerning the repo business. Tense times those.

:D RAP

repos are fun. theres so many laws surrounding them though, i didnt get into them on a large scale, but ive done a few. what i did on a daily basis that closely resembles repos is scofflaw tows. you know, when you rack up hundreds of dollars in parking tickets and otherwise that you refuse to pay, well the police call and say the have found a scofflaw parked somewhere, i get there in minutes and tow it away to the police impound lot. its the best when people come out ranting and raving and i just point to the officer and tell them "take it up with him"

actually, i kinda miss "stealing" cars legally. your giving me ideas of getting back in towing...

My friend repo'd in the Newark, Hillside, Elizabeth, Irvington areas in New Jersey. He said quite often it was scary. I wouldn't be able to do that in my area, it is way too risky.

He loved it though (aside from the threats, and weapons)

it was awesome, but the idea of being attacked for doing my job, or worse, getting in trouble for defending myself [everyone knows, even if its justifiable, your still gonna get **** for it, and a trip to court] doesnt play out very well.

sucks, wish i could still collect my old paycheck and not do ****...
