well i didnt do it but its sure as sh*t locked. my car has been under a cover for months with the key in the center console. i start it once a week and went to start it today and its locked! could it have done it itself? my father lost the spare so worst case he'll pay to have infiniti send me a new one.

any way. the hood is open so the question is:

is there a way to unlock the doors from the engine bay? ive got a lock out kit but every Q ive seen has the frame of the window bent afterwards, and ive had to open a few.

any help is appreciated

thanks

unfortunately having the hood open does no good..., My 94 has locked itself probably 3-4 times, and IM thinking about making a dedicated spare hidden somewhere on the car so I can get it whenever I need it...

LOL! Yeah, most of us have been there. The G50 loves to lock itself randomly for no good reason. I believe someone once said it might have something to do with the body module?

The good news is that a pro can get in fairly easily:

"AAA sent out a guy who opened it in 15 seconds. Incredible..he simply slid the plastic white wedge into the weatherstrip on the passenger side front door. He then slid a devise(Ill describe it in a second) down there close to the door handle area and popped the lock open. He went into the inner door not into the vehicle. The tool was about 24 inches long and looked like a coat hanger with an "s" hook on each side...I actually held the tool and measured it so I could build one:) Guy must of thought to himself this guy is nuts! Thanks for all the help!!"

Yeah the same thing happened to me not too long after I bought it at my ex-girlfriends house.

So I grabbed her 7 year old daughter by the ankles and......

lowered her throught the sunroof.

After that I screwed a key to the framerail in back.

Car thief's love that! And yes they will find it and steal your car...that is if it's worth stealing.
