Location of factory subwoofer

Hello all, I am new to this site and the Nissan family as well. I do have a question, I purchased my wife a 2011 Rogue SV AWD. I am loving this car! My question is, where would I find the factory subwoofer? I have been told that it's a ten inch with like 5 inch depth. I am wanting to install an aftermarket sub and amp and the only way my wife will allow this is for no room to be taken up nor can she be able to see it. I have pulled the back seat looking but it isn't there. I can hear it well from the back hatch area but have had NO luck locating it. Can someone who knows please let me know where it is. And if you replaced it, what sub/amp combo did you use? Thanks in advance for any and all comments!
