I was quoted $229 for the shop's lifetime warranty metalized Llumar film today.
Is this a good price(Dallas area), and would metalized film cause any Sat/Nav reception problems?
Thanks!

Here's the factory quote:
High-Performance Metal Combinations (ATR Series)
High-performance metalized aluminum combined with a LLumaraStar solution-dyed polyester substrate and an ultraviolet-absorbing layer make the ATR series an attractive addition to your vehicle. The dyed film layer in LLumar ATR tinting provides greater color uniformity and stability than films make with color-coated components. The virtually invisible metal layer gives excellent heat rejection to keep you and your passengers more comfortable.

I've been told by numerous shops that the metallic tint will interfere with the radio reception. I believe the sat/nav antenna is the fin on top of the roof (assuming you have one of those). Either case, I was recommended against the metallic tint by the shop. I paid $125 each for all windows except the windshield with lifetime warranty on both our 2010 G and 2008 M.

What type tint did you get? Ceramic? Brand name?

can't remember for sure...but they were not ceramic. I believe it's one of these:
