Tints are on

So...picked up the car Wednesday night. Today was a sunny day so went and got tints on. 35% all around.

thanks...you know, i always say i'm going to leave my car stock everytime i get a new one. that hasn't happened yet. but we'll see.

Looks great. Your pictures make it look like its darker then 35%. I'm having tint put on my 2010 Graphite Shadow this week. The tint shop suggested I go one step darker, then 35%,, which would still be legal in Florida. I'll have to wait until I get there to compare the tints.

what color is your interior? i have graphite and the dark interior definitely makes the tint look darker. the tint guy suggested i go with 35% for that reason.

I have the stone interior and the graphite shadow exterior. I'm still undecided how dark a tint to go with. I was going to get 35%. The tint guy is pushing for 20 something percent.
Florida lets you go to 28%, so that is probably what I will decide on, after I see a sample of each tint against my driver's door glass.

I will have him start on the rear widow first, to make sure he can get the tint between the brake light and the glass. If for some reason he can't get the tint behind the brake light, I'll go somewhere else.

How did they do around your brake light? That has been a concern for me, and the reason I have never gotten mine done.

i have no idea. i dropped the car off and came back like 4 hrs later. this place does excellent work and everyone and their mother goes there. i got there 10 min after they opened and i was the 18th car in line. i took my mom's M35 there also and they got the tint between the brake light also.

You got the windshield done as well didnt you? That alone will make it look darker for the rest of the car.
