Live for Speed

Anyone here play live for speed? (not need for speed). Dont get it confused with Need for speed, as they are in no way related. LFS in an online racing sim, and if you like Enthusia, Forza, or Gran Turismo, then youd love this.

Download the demo for free at http://www.liveforspeed.net. Demo still lets you play online, for as long as you want. If youve got a wheel, this makes the game 10 times better.

You gotta buy the full version. You buy it through internet though, and it just gives you the licence to unlock the full version. In USD, its around $54ish, which is kinda expensive, but if you think about it, thats what most brand new console games are, and let me tell you, this game is FUN. Demo alone is really addicting.

Also, if youve got a wheel, use it for this game. Makes it soo much better.

Its super fun. Download the demo, if you ever get bored. Also, if youve got a wheel, it makes the game a TON more fun.

I play LFS quite often (demo version). I'm usually on the Dori.S Demo Drift server.

I mentioned nico during a ka24de "can rattle" chat, and someone else chimed in. So theres at least 1 other person from nico on! I'm actually going to play right now... heh don't have a wheel though

Whats your name on LFS? I might just join you, even though i have S2.

Its always fun meeting fellow 240 enthusiasts on LFS. Theres plenty of them there.

loki, try the demo (free, and unlimited online) first to see if you like it. Make sure you use a wheel if youve got one. If you have a wheel for PS2, it WILL work on the computer, as they both use the USB port. Im currently using the logitech DFP (GT4 wheel).

sketchy i got bored last night and downloaded the demo but all the ppl are retarded and wont quit wreckin ppl in the pits.. haha.. When i get a wheel i might buy it.

Yeah, just make sure if you buy a PS2 wheel, you buy one that hooks up to the PS2 though USB, and not the one that goes in as a controller.

im not a big gamer at all, this is like the only game ill ever play cause the physics fcking rock. other than that i never really have time for games, but this ones worth it

That's only in Single Player, or if someone made a special server. And you cannot do that on the newest patch.

the physics on GTR2 arent that great, and LFS has AMAZING physics, plus, theres so many police chase, mess around, jump, stunt, demo derby, cops and robbers, etc servers... its just a badass game

So I just bought S2 tonight, good fun but I cant belive there isn't a kick vote type thing online...

There were two douche bags who couldn't drive worth a **** just ramming people because it was the only thing they could figure out how to do.

At anyrate, I know there was some one else talking about the game....we need to round a few up and start having autocrosses

as good as this game is at simulating driving....the AI is TERRIBLE

Ive been trying to do all the tests, and Ive been much faster on the first overtaking one then the computer....I pass the first 3 in the first corner and come onto the straight literally right next to the head runner. With me right next to him on a straight he glides over to the right side of the track and trys to push me off/makes contact.....

I then fail because you cant have any collisions. The AI apparently has NO idea where your are (or they don't care)

Still, some one come autox with me! we need a Nico autox sim day!
