I got my first 240 hatch last summer. It had Blown Struts on lowering springs, i drove around for a month like that and i decided to get some coils. So i got a good deal on some Tien HA Coilovers. Iv been loving the ride so far.

The interior is Brown, it seems like a lot of people don't like it but i love it, especially once i got some Recaro bucket seats. The drivers side i use a Bride Mo seat bracket, the passenger is using a wedge seat bracket.

This week i got a new Catback system installed at a local shop.High flow Cat, resonator and a magnaflow dual tip muffler with 2.5inch piping. I also got a Sparco Steering wheel and Hub, just installed that and it is great.

Pics below!

Thanks, The brown interior is really nice when it has more black. I'm thinking of changing the fabric in the door panels to black.

I don't know, I like the interior how it is. Brown CAN be pulled off, but only with black accents, which you have.

Very clean car, I like it.

You're gonna go black on the rear seats too right? cause that seems it would complete the brown/black combo you got going on.......and i myself do like it so far. good job sticking with it and making it look good.

I like how you kept the exhaust looking close to factory.

Kinda of a cool contrast I think. If you made the rear seats black that would look sick actually! Good jbo with the hatch so far

thanks guys, maybe in the future ill get the rear seats redone in black, but right now they are leather and in decent shape. Plus with the Recaro seats it is hard to see the back seats. I also got some new speakers for the front and back, gonna do that one of these days.

So how does that exhaust sound? It looks pretty great, I like that it looks pretty close to stock.

Also, I think black rear seats with brown stitching would look pretty neato.

Its a little louder than i thaught it was going to be, but it is a nice deep sound at idle and until about 4k then you get into the higher revs and then it really sounds nice.

right now the plan is to just slowly bring the body and suspension back to life. There are a couple of dents and rust spots to fix. Then a master bushing kit for the suspension. Eventually i think im gonna rebuilt the KA and go KA-T

Hey guys, time for an update on the hatch.

When i picked up the car last June there was this huge dent in the driver side fender.

Image

got that fixed this week, looks great.

Image

There was also rust roles under each mirror, i attempted to fix that last year but i didn't do a good job(i hate body work, lol)

Image

Image

That was also fixed this week at the body shop

Image

Image

And last but not least, i removed the 4x6 speaker in the door panels and hatch. The door panels now hold JBL 6.5's

Image

Image

And for the rear speakers they are JVC 6x9's, i used the privacy cover to place the speakers, much better sound then the stock location. I also bypassed the stock amp, new wires for the rear, used stock wires for the front

Image

That's it for now, would like some feedback thanks

doesnt the privacy cover make alot of vibration noise with the speakers mounted to it like that? cuz I was thinking of doing the same thing with mine.

not really, I'm kind of used to it banging around because of the bad roads and coilovers. What i did was buy some foam with the sticky backing and put a piece on the bars underneath the privacy cover, works great. The cover doesn't move as much because of the weight of the speakers.

Lol, what did you do to your front speakers? Why didn't you just make an adapter plate so they fit into the stock location. That way you could put the speaker grill back on and it won't look like poo.

It's a NISMO Duracon/Dildo knob. They're also available in black.

FR Sport has them for a good deal along with other brands.
