Whats up guys, did some stuff to the hatch today.

I was going to remove the Clutch damper box but before i did that i wanted to make sure i was able to bleed the system from slave but when i tried to loosen the bleeder it broke right off.
So now i am going to replace the slave cylinder and continue to remove the damper probably next weekend.

Well with me not being able to do the clutch line, i had gotten a bottle of seafoam earlier this week. so i did that.
This stuff is amazing, it smoked like crazy for a good 20 minutes. Some huge blue and back clouds. lol
Engine runs a lot smoother, idle is smoother and it starts a lot quicker.

Sorry no pics, maybe next time i get something done, thanks for reading

Just wondering where'd you get your seats from and if you don't mind me asking how much? PM if you'd like.

Looks like you are making some nice progress on the car. Some black floor mats would help complete your interior look. Please fix those door speakers though.

Nice Hatch, looks good.

Small Update! About a month ago i was going to removing the clutch damper but before i wanted to make sure i was able to bleed from the slave but the slave bleeder broke.
So i got a new slave and a stainless steel line.

This morning me and my dad removed the Damper, changed the clutch slave and put the stainless clutch line.
This is a cheap mod to do and is definitely worth it, much better feel on the clutch pedal. :bigthumb:

Sorry No pics. maybe next update ;)

They are Canadian DRL's. You can get them from pdm-racing.com

Alright time for an update.

I took my car out of winter storage in the beginning of April, i drove the car for about a week.
I was working in the engine bay, installing an eBay CAI.

I noticed the passenger side rad bracket was loose, so i tighten it down then i hear a cracking sound, plastic breaking.
I didn't notice anything at first but once the CAI was installed and i started the car, coolant was leaking from the passenger rad bracket.
Take the bracket off and the plastic top post broke leaving a hole in the top of the rad.

so with that i didn't drive the car for 2 weeks.
In the few days after i ordered a CX Racing aluminum Rad+electric fan shroud.
Also ordered a DIF fan controller for the electric fans.
Finally got that installed about 1 week ago.
Its good to be able to drive the hatch again.

Also got myself a new head unit, its an MP3 unit, no CD slot. It plays right from a usb stick hidden inside the unit, its awesome.

onto the pics (Click for full size)

DIF Fan controller
I'm kink of having trouble with it. it is programmed but will not turn the fans on.
Right now i have the AC fan override wire straight to the battery. this forces the fans to turn on with IGN.

Now for the best part of this update. :naughty:
Yesterday i ordered a set of Rota P45R 17X9 +12 hyper black

As for tires I'm going to order a set of Sumitomo HTR Z II 225/45/17 all around.

Where did you order your P45r's that have that +12 offset? I've been trying to find some. They don't have that offset on their website..

Its been a long time, but i have an update!

Where to start, Well i sold the recaro seat as i was hitting my head on the roof going over bumps(not fun). I now have 180SX seats, unfortunately i don't have any pics of the seats in the car. The car is currently in storage for the winter so i can't get any pics but everyone knows what those seats look like.

After that not much happened until last summer when my hicas stopped working and ruined a brand new set of tires because the toe was way off. I completely removed the hicas lines and installed a lock bar and got some new rear tires(Federal 595's). Not long after that i fixes some holes in the floor, Removed the rear wiper and antenna by welding the holes. Now this is where stuff gets interesting.

A few days later my KADE decided the 3rd and 4th rods didn't need to be connected to the pistons anymore after 278000 KM.

This is the trail of oil from the motor blowing up, i walked the trail and picked up a few chunks of the block and starter. There were holes on either side of the block and the oil pan was ripped open.

Now that the engine bay was empty i had to decide what i was going to do, Finally i chose the RB20DET.
I Picked up a motor from one of the local JDM import shops, prepped the motor to be put in the S13.
I removed the AC and Clutch fan, used the KA lower harness. I am using Mckinney mounts.

The RB is 100% stock except the front mount intercooler.

Also added some stickers to the rear window

Thats all for now, i wish i had more and better pics but it was all a rush to get the car back on the road and driving again before winter. All i'm going to say is i love the RB20DET :mike
