FJ and all:D See the thing that scares me about owning a car like that here is for the most part it's one of a kind(I'm sure there might be a couple other people in the states that have a DR30) but I think I would only drive it a couple time a year for fear something epic horrible would happen to it. (like some dumb idiot in their lifted suv plowing into it at 60 mph). I'd probably garage it and only take it to special events.

If and when my returns it's a rare Sunday drive or a car show. Honestly, if I bring the 180 back too it would have to suffer a similar Rapunzel-like fate. I wouldn't sequester it because it has much rarity or monetary value, it doesn't. No, I would have to lock it up because some D-1 masturbating punk a** scumbag d!ck would try to steal it or parts off of it if I left it parked for 15 minutes just about anywhere short of wherever d!ck Cheney spent eight years!

It's nice to have something and not be able to freely enjoy it lest ye befall the predations of the baser elements of society. All because it's JDM tyte yo!

Man it's true. I hate to say it but having something like that in the states where people have NO Honor(I believe theft probably doesn't happen as much in Japan) But you would have to worry about that which is terrible. Just install the flame throwers like they do in Europe and you'll be good! I mean you remember or ever hear about Tein's Civic getting rapped because it was left Trailored(cover trailor at that outside of their freakin hotel room!!?!??!?!?!?? Only here would something that craptacular ever happen!!!! The only thing that was left was the bare chassis. It makes me want to move to Japan even more because aside from the Yakuza or street gangs I have never heard of car theft being big there.(could be mistaken though?)

Stuff get's stolen here all the time. Then again, I was in a shadier neighborhood back in the day. Here seems better. The next door neighbor at the old place stole my rims once and then had the balls to actually put them on his car like I wouldn't notice.

Well, car-ma and a 14mm wrench caused his drain plug to get loose and damned if he didn't blow that cute little SR20 a week after. It seemed fair. I payed $70 for the rims, he paid $500 for the motor, I got $430 worth of giggles out of it. Some jerk kept pissin on his car too, damnedest thing.

Stateside, if I catch somebody in my driveway stealing s*** off my car they are catching a 6.8 SPC double-tap to the chest.

Man that's epic, what a moron though! Hey do you smell oil? Shreik (sound of an engine seizing) Oh Epic Fail :rotflmao
And that is the other nice thing about the states depending where you live, little law they call the "Make my day" law.
Yeah there's a reason we have the right to bare arms! To blast $#$%$%#^ idiots that try to jack stuff we worked our @$$'s off for! So what ward constitutes as a shady one? (AKA where ones neighbor would jack your wheels and put them on his car lol)?

I was living in a village, the smallest organizational unit for a community. Nothing but really old people and punk teenagers who haven't gotten the hell out yet. Reminds me of Tampa.

Like College Hill lmao???? (Not sure if you've ever been there) Yeah no doubt old people and young hooligans with nothing better to do! I would put him in a servitude of b**** work like making the bottom of my car sluge free :yesnod Then again me and thermite have been good friends, not so much anyones engine block :ohno:
Ever hang out with the Bozoku kids???? I always found their rides uniquely cool, same with the crazy bikers lol. And I have to ask but what's up with the "Greaser" type 60's kids in Japan? (A friend of mine sent me some pics and I kinda laughed a little, just not something you expect to see in Japan)

I've both assisted and attacked those guys. My brother-in-law did that s*** when he was in high school. I've on more than one occasion terrorized them on my bike running through their formations and punking them out. I smacked one of them in the helmet at like 40mph. He almost crashed, so close; I should have hit him harder.

What I hunt Bosozoku on, adding insult to injury. They aren't sure what to do when a crazy American riding a chainsaw starts f*** with them. :poke:

Oh man that's epic! Man you need to get some spikes on the jacket and a big chain and do it up ghost rider style!
Or carry a flag pole with you Indiana Jones style and really make them freak out :chuckle:
So do the guys that drive around the van live in them? I've seen some crazy things like chandeliers, water fountains,
arcades, and all sorts of crazy things packed into the back f the bozoku style vans. I think their outlandish bodykits are great, just watch out for low bridges!

No, they just cruise. I got behind one that had a flatscreen TV in the back aiming out the window. I think when he parks he pops the back and chills. He had a decent movie playing on it so the traffic jam was quite tolerable. It was like a moving drive-in theatre!

Man i wish we had things like that here, you're right I think it would make traffic jams a lot more enjoyable. (over here though someone would obviously play something retarded probably) I mean some of the one's I've seen pics of I would be good with living out of lol. What are the crazy trucks with all the lights all over the place though? I've heard about them but not really seen to many pics. I also hear the tow trucks are epic because some are remote controlled???? And can pic up a lowered car that's sitting flush with the ground with out snapping the side skirts in half????

I was in traffic once and I started hearing, well, relationship noises. I started looking around to see where that was coming from and I saw the car in the car next to me had his little 7" car TV going with some hardcore p0rn!

They have tow trucks where the bed rolls back then drops flat on the ground so low cars can drive on. I'm pretty sure they have those stateside. The tow truck I used to drive was scary as hell to load. The whole truck stood up in the front on giant hydraulic rams and you had to winch the vehicle up two wooden ramps onto the bed. You better get that s*** straight too.

I've always had a love for the Dekotora. We don't get the full blown mothership close encounters of the third kind trucks down here though, people are too poor to do it to this degree.

I saw some pretty blinged out but actual freight trucks when I was driving down the Tomei Expressway... bling, but not lit up like a pachinko parlor! :chuckle:
they were used by those grumpy old japanese men whose livelihood depended on them, not how wacky they looked

Dekotora huh? Those are pretty awesome thanks for the link. Well as for epic tow trucks I'm pretty sure we don't have any of the "JDM" types here lol maybe some in Cali but I drove my freightliner flatbed for awhile and never saw anything else better stateside in my journeys. My friend sent me some pics of some of the remote control ones in Japan where the bed comes down to lay flat I want one! Someone told me once they saw a "Rolling" pachinko parlor???? Some kinda semi that travels Japan with a monile pachinko parlor???? Ever see it?

Were they the scratch and sniff brand??? Lmao
I have seen those Sake vending machines too, as well as the one that sell portable electronics and cell phones.
I want one that dispenses water balloons, you never know when you might need to throw one at the passer by.
